The food is great, but unfortunately, the service is not too great.
We both ordered vegetarian dishes, and both of our orders were made incorrectly.
I ordered the Vegetarian noodles with tofu, and got rice. The rice ended up being tasty anyway so I stuck with it. With what happened next I'm lucky my meal was made vegetarian so I could actually eat it.
My girlfriend got it much worse.
She ordered two orders of the Baki vegetarian spring rolls. For whatever reason, the cashier added dumplings to the order, and refused to give her a refund because the food had already started cooking until we pressed him about it.
Then, when she got her spring rolls, not only did she only get one order of them, but they had MEAT in them!! So she couldn't even eat!!
During the confrontation he seemed very unwilling to solve her problem.
This place has been open for over a decade for a reason. The food is amazing. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day, (None of our orders were messed up before this) but their service really seemed like they just wanted to move the line as quickly as possible. But when restaurants do that, it tends to lead to errors.
I would not discourage anyone from eating here. Just make sure you're very clear on what you're ordering, especially if you're a vegetarian/vegan.
Just as good as I remembered from when I was a child! The atmosphere is bland, so I always order to-go. The prices have definitely gone up, but I’m willing to pay for good food. I did have to pay $2.59 for extra chicken so this picture shows an adult plate with white rice, extra chicken and extra teriyaki sauce. My total was $12 and change. I personally have never tried the other sides (crab cheese, egg rolls) and I possibly never will but I recommend the chicken and sauce. ????
Hands down my favorite food place in all of Saginaw. The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are great, and the service is even better. I crave this place literally every week ????
Always good. Sometimes not super fast, but that's okay. Special of the day never seems to change, so is it really a special? Regardless, it's good and one of the few food choices left in the mall.
Last 3 times I ordered extra chicken but didn't get extra even after questioning it. I saw the 3 people in front of me get 2 large scoops to my one small scoop of chicken. Foods good though
What can I say…my food is always hot and fresh. The food has great flavor and it is an affordable meal for lunchtime. I’m full and satisfied as usual!
I love the Teraki Chicken they cook rite in front of you with fried rice and etc.....
I stopped by after shopping because I saw soba noodles on the menu. Not a common thing to see around here. I love soba. They proceeded to give me low mein noodles. Soba noodles are grey and easy to tell apart. When I told the cashier I ordered soba she argued with me saying "soba is noodle!" It seems like they are selling low mein as soba and have no intention of changing the menu. Pretty screwy.
