Best WLM Reviews

some interesting cake choices and very fancy and pretty to look at. taste was good and not too sweet. however, $10-14 a slice is kind of nuts in early 2024.
the location is basically a cashier counter and like 3-4 refrigerated self serve displays, no place to eat and feels more like the hobby of the office boss than an actual bakery. packaging was nice to look at.
I’ve been here about 3 times before writing this review. They have a nice ambience with a classy and luxurious vibe. Their confectioneries and drinks are good, but not quite worth the high price tag they put on it. I think the drinks are more forgiving as they have unique flavors that you wouldn’t find anywhere else. I would opt out of getting boba as an add on here because it’s not that great here in all honesty. The pudding is mediocre and the sago is mediocre as well. I think getting the drink without any toppings would be the best option. I highly recommend their horoscope series drinks! Very cute with pretty colors! Also the yogurt dessert they have here is way too overpriced for what you’re getting but it tastes good, but not spectacular like the price suggests. It’s nice that they use fresh fruit though!
All in all, what they do offer does taste good but I do think it is overpriced which is why I had to knock down a star. Not likely to come back often but I think it’s worth a try once or twice!
Raspberry yogurt was delicious. Will return for that. The rose Petal cheesecake was a little boring but I will try other things next time. Not cheap just an fyi.
The fluffy Pork Sung Salted Egg Yolk bread poster draws me into the store. Yu Cake is not your typical Asian bakery. They have flavors and items that I have not seen before, like Mochi Mochi Brown Sugar bread. The store itself has a classy high-end feel to it. It's like I step in to Louis Vuitton of bakery - LOL
I asked the worker the shelf life for the loaf of bread. It's weird that she told me two days, even though it was baked that day. I assumed it should last up to 5 days if I put it in the fridge. Of course, I purchased the Pork Sung Salted Egg Yolk bread because I was really curious about the taste. It was fluffy and soft, but not enough pork floss or salted egg yolk. I expected savory and stronger flavors. For $17 a loaf, I don't think it's worth it.
Surprisingly, the Uji Matcha Snowflake Chewy Cube was absolutely delicious! The combination of cookies, marshmallows, dried mango, and nuts is so addicting. We ate the whole jar in our car ride home before I could take a close-up picture.
I didn't try their cakes this time, but it seems like that's their signature. The Mango crepe cake looks incredible.
Tried these two items. Both cream and cake tasted like they had been made for couple of days, dry and tender. Price was reasonable to me. Probably won’t go back for other items.
Got the Manna Melaleuca and Blue Coconut Mille cake through Uber eats. At about $12 a slice, it’s pretty disappointing. The former has a mango flavor that one can get at any Chinese bakery, and the latter literally just tastes like coconut cream from a can. The photo shows how much we were able to eat from each slice..
We are from NYC and were waiting at the boba milk tea shop when we decided to give it a try. We tried both the floss cake and taro inside the box. So yummy! Soft, not too sweet.
We got the taro mochi jar. Couldn’t really eat it gracefully. I think the cake was a little dry for my likings and the mochi was pretty decent but I don’t feel like there was enough of it. So fancy but it’s just kind of ehhhh.
