Overall experience so good they deserve this review. I need to let the public know who well run this small business is. I have been here at least 3 times in the past month and I will be a loyal customer in the future if they stay exactly the same. They are doing some important things correct yall. For me a restaurant’s health score is #1. Restaurants that don’t post it or try to hide it in plain site can’t be trusted and they do that FOR A REASON! What the point of good lookn, smell good cheap-food that will make you sick?? But NOT with Yoshi Express, you can see their score up front as you pay; and it is in the high 90’s!!!! I’d you care about your health score you care about your customers— plain and simple.
Next on my list of accomplishments is food freshness, taste, appearance, smell, temperature; and will it be consistently the same every time I order? The is yes! It’s important to me to have fresh ingredients, those mixed vegetables are cooked perfectly and meat and rice is as well too. These items are healthy for you they not deep fried and offer you veggies which we need more of. They cook to order so I don’t mind the wait, happy to do so. The food is on par with the mall’s Japanese; but is so many other ways it’s better—now crowd, it’s closer to my home, and I like to help small businesses thrive in my side of town South Augusta.
Lastly is price and the customer service I receive. Both were great, no rude interaction as of yet and you get an generous portion of food at a reasonable, competitively price and I hope this never changes (I’m talking to you management).
People in South Augusta are looking for healthy food options that taste good and is close to home but in a safe, clean environment though it cannot be overpriced. Nice customer service is a nice added bonus.❤️
In the photos (named in the order in which I posted them): plain Chinese wings, shrimp noodle soup, teriyaki chicken meal/ fried rice veggies, beef lo main, fried crab Rangoon with red sauce, shrimp dumplings, more shrimp noodle soup, teriyaki chicken on stick, brown au jus for the shrimp noodle soup, pepper steak and onion, fried crab meat, and some buffalo wings.
Ordered doordash. 1 of 2 meals missing. 2 Egg rolls missing. Had to order again more food from another place. Cheese Rangoon was ok and Orange chicken ok but missing my orange chicken meal and both egg rolls. Food was typical Chinese nothing like P.F. Chang’s
My favorite take out place! They have the best options for a good price. I recommend the general tsos chicken, you get an egg roll too. Doesn’t matter who takes my order, they are always nice. Food is quick and never disappoints!
First time in this place ordered hibachi chicken and shrimp. It was during the lunch rush only took about 10 minutes for my order to be ready I could watch them cook it from where I was standing. Everything was fresh have no complaints at all. Will definitely be going back here again.
Just plain rude! They don't acknowledge you when you walk in. The lady.. A tad ilder is ways off to the side and when she appears she looks like a member of Alvin & The. Chipmunks. Cheeks full and chewing!! I have never personality ate from here...If it smells toooooo clean and not like food.its an ISSUE for me.
The amount of food that you get here is kind of ridiculous. The cost is decent and you'll get a bunch more than you expect here. The people working here are kind of rude though and they weren't very attentive to our order. I would rate lower but the food came out quickly.
This restaurant has amazing food and service. I am very icky and there was not one thing I ordered that wasn’t to my liking I definitely recommend the lady owner is very kind and had my order prepared and ready as I got there .
Decent amount of food for 10$. Ordered pepper steak onions and fried rice (pictured below). The meat was good rice possibly over cooked (everyone’s paler is different). Filled me up.
