It was my first visit since the restaurant changed ownership. My food was fresh, and the serving size was generous. I enjoyed the taste of the raw cabbage salad. My stewed chicken could have had more flavor. My husband loved the curried Goat. I'll definitely go back to try other food.
Food is decent but be aware when ordering online. The small medium and large plates are all the same size just a different price. Everything comes in one call takeout container no separation from rice, veggies and meat. I don’t see the point in paying for a medium and having it come in the same size container as the small it’s the same amount of food. Very misleading to make more money.
Absolutely loved our experience at The Yardy Kitchen! The oxtail and rice were delicious, and my auntie adored the curry goat. The flavors were outstanding, and the owner was incredibly pleasant and accommodating. We can't wait to visit again! Thank you for a fantastic meal!
First-Time Customer! The food is excellent. I ate the entire plate.. and it was really filling! The portion is great! I love Jerk Chicken, that’s one of my favorite meals! Everything was seasoned and it was just really REALLY good! A must try!
One of the best family business owned restaurants in Poinciana. From my experience, their Jerk chicken plate was very good. Chicken was fresh and well seasoned and the sides complimented everything well. I’ll be a returning customer to try other things on the menu
This restaurant gives you the true Jamaican restaurant vibes with reggae music and video playing, events fliers, patois in the background and taking longer than expected to share the food ????. I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas, oxtail gravy and steamed veggies and it was delicious and good portion. Only comment on the food was I didn’t like the BBQ sauce with on my jerk chicken (to be fair though I said yes to sauce I was just not expecting BBQ sauce, thought they have some special sauce).
THE place for Jamaican cuisine in Poinciana. Their curry chicken is good. The seafood salad is prepared fresh, yummy and delicious! The plantains are cooked to perfection. They even have veggie Pattie’s (in addition to beef) which are really good. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable. I found my new spot.
