Best WLM Reviews
Love going to Yamato with friends for al-you-can-eat sushi. The appetizers are good, but the sushi is of course the real draw. Staff is always very nice and you definitely get your money’s worth even if you only order a reasonable portion. This location is a bit out of the way, but the area is nice and it’s not too bad to get to with the green line. I’ve come back many times and always have a good experience.
Ordered take out from here and really enjoyed it! The fish in my spicy salmon roll was fresh. The fried soft shell crab in my spider roll was crunchy. And for lunch, you get a great deal of any two rolls with miso soup and side salad for only $11.50! They did forget to give me chopsticks but nonetheless I’d definitely return.
The food is not great. It's not terrible, but not great. It's mostly a place for college kids, keep in mind. The part that I couldn't stomach, we ordered miso soups, the waitress had her thumb in them as she put it on the table. Then when my table wanted to order more sushi, they were too busy on their cell phones.
It's all you can eat, though... So that's nice. Don't expect a high end place. The tables are sticky and the place has a smell.
I had a wonderful lunch experience at this place. The server was great at explaining the menu, which helped us make our choices. The food arrived promptly, and just as we finished one dish, another one followed. The lunchtime crowd was not too overwhelming, and the atmosphere was delightful. The food itself was incredibly delicious, making for a truly satisfying lunch experience.
It’s my favorite restaurant ever !!! The salmon is so fresh , all food is fresh
the service is not 5 stars, but it’s okay.
In addition to the decline in food quality, food hygiene and safety are now need to beware of too! So disappointed cause is my fav sushi restarant since 2014 and proud to bring my friends and familys to this place for sushi and celebrate together、 but now Yamato are no longer Yamato any more.
Great place. Stick to the sushi, the fried items can be quite greasy. A lot of there kitchen items I’ve yet to try. I always go with friends and get sushi and it never disappoints! Service can be slow but it’s because there’s only ever a couple servers, they’re always super nice though! Highly recommend.
Quintessential no-frills sushi buffet with a very consistently good, varied menu. Staff is extremely efficient and helpful. The space is plain but feels very honest, evocative of the entire MO: coming here for Saturday lunch, you felt like you were a part of a long neighborhood tradition. Come if you haven't before!
