I asked my wife where would you like to go for your birthday dinner, and she said Wright's Ranch House! She got the BBQ beef sandwich dinner plate with fries & BBQ beans, and I got the grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The food was delicious as usual! ????????
Excellent food and service is very good. Staff is very polite and keeps a check on you to make sure you don't need anything. Highly recommend
How is it that your food always tastes better when you have a pleasant wait staff? Strange but true. BBQ is always delicious. Margaret's baked beans, cornbread salad & fried okra. & ya gotta try a fried pie if you haven't already. I like apricot but they're all good. Go get you some!! UPDATE: a year later & nothing has changed. Same delicious food. Same great wait staff.
DO NOT miss Margaret’s baked beans! Pork dinner was delicious and my friend had the Crawfish salad. They don’t spare any ranch dressing with the salad.
From the couple on their 10th anniversary just passing through. We googled restaurants and this was the closest one. Pulling up you were greeted by a old wooden building. Just know, curb appeal of a restaurant means something. In my experience the less curb appeal the better the food. I looked at my husband in our car and said “babe this looks like our kind of place”. The hours were written on poster board with sharpie on the front door and that’s when I knew this food was about to be off the chain. As we enter the lobby old wood lined walls and concrete floors with ceiling fans overhead the aroma of grandmas cooking filled the air. We sat at the old booth on the end. “Side note: if you are on the plus side of life the booths are very spacious and comfortable”. Big people eat too right?? I hate restaurants that only make booths for skinny humans. I chose the Cajun ribeye and mash potatoes with gravy and sweet tea. Sweet tea “granny definitely made that”. Crawfish etouffee on the grilled to perfection medium rare ribeye was the best food I’ve ever ate in my life! I normally don’t get desert but what the hell I would eat anything these people made. The red velvet cake is like no other I’ve ever had. It’s like clouds of cake with cream cheese that melts. The service was also top notch!
Oh man, chicken spaghetti special with fried okra was soon good.I wasn't going to eat it all, but I just couldn't help myself. Great and personal service too.
Exceptional service, huge portions, mid-range prices, hometown feel, clean restaurant, nice menu selection - can't wait to return!
This is high on my list of Happy Places! Great food, great service, friendly staff and patrons make Wright's Ranch House a happy place to dine.
