Have been to this shop multiple times and everyone is so friendly and helpful. They've taken their time to explain each repair and service they've done on my car and never pushed for extra services just recommended them with a solid explanation. Would recommended this shop to anyone I know.
My brother referred me to this garage and I’m so glad he did.
I first spoke to Carol who got me scheduled in and I had just purchased a used car and let them know I needed to get in ASAP. When I arrived Don spoke with me and laid out all that was gonna be done and asked what exactly needed done and he gave me a fair price and walked me through the following steps which was nice. Once my inspection was done I had conversations with gabe, dan, don, and Dave who all took a good look at the car and they were totally honest with what was wrong and what the price was going to be.
Overall straight forward experience with reasonable prices and very professional all around. I am very pleased and would refer anyone to these guys because no one else is going to provide the same service at a reasonable price
Don is amazing. Shoots you straight. Very good prices. Him and his staff are on it. If they find anything wrong . They will let you know. Also given you a time frame on how long before the problem needs to be fixed. Thanks Wrench Monkey for taking care of my mother's car. You guy's rock
The owner was super nice and took the time to talk to me about an issue I'm having and recommended options while even showing me where to get the parts cheaper. Rated 4 out of 5 only because I haven't actually had work done there yet.
3 months ago I gave this shop 5 stars that was before I had several dealings with the new ownership and the true colors was shown. I take back my 5 stars and give it no stars but I'll be nice and give them 1 star. If you want to be taken advantage of than this is the place for you . when it was J&H automotive it was where you could get your car fixed at a reasonable price now Wrench monkey under new ownership if you bring your parts in then you won't be ripped off on the prices however if you let the new owner order your parts you will be charged a 200% mark up on your overall bill. For example if you buy your front n back brake pads for 20.00 each at say auto zone or O'Reilly and rotors for 25.00 each and bring them in with you you'll be charged $80.00 labor for the front and $80.00 for the rear for a total $160.00 labor your total out of pocket parts n labor is $300.00 but if you let the owner get the same parts for you at genuine auto it will be 25.00 each for 4 rotors total $100.00 and $20.00 for front pads and $20.00 for back brake pads for a total of $40.00 so you'll be charged $536.46 for parts labor WHY ? same parts same price. He tried to tell that the back brakes were $25.00 more then the front brakes but I had already called to check so I told him stop lying they're the same price as the front. I asked what was the other $200.00 charge for and he couldn't explain. That's a 200% mark up for WHAT ? The dealership will only charge a 30% mark up If they ordered the parts. Customers beware!!!! I wish that Wilkes Automotive was still open next door David the owner really knew how to take care of his customers. he was a God send a great owner and a honest person for the last 15 years he was my only Mechanic. how I wish Wilkes was still open hands down no comparison Wilkes Automotive will truly be missed.
