So I came in today because I was staying nearby for work and I was hungry. I came in and was greeted and asked what I wanted to drink. I ordered a beer and it was delivered promptly. I ordered the southern fried chicken. I grew up in the south, so I wanted to give it a go. The order came with a salad and some bread. After a bit the chicken was delivered along with some green beans, fries, and some bread. It was an entire half chicken, and it was delicious. I ate almost all of it and it was awesome. Great food, great service, great place, and I left beyond full. I wish it was closer to the coast...
Update. This time I brought my friends, and they were impressed too. Thanks for having a great establishment.

There's so much I want to say, but to sum it up it just wasn't worth the price. The Alfredo was worse than my store bought jar I use at home. My husbands pulled pork sandwich wasn't on bread and was cold but tasted "fine". My MIL chicken fried steak was good but her potatoes were plain and she said not worth the price.
I liked the deep fried green beans and hot chocolate though!
The waitress Sadie was very nice and accommodating though! I believe she was the only one working and even though there were a couple mix ups she was able to try and correct it. She did amazing!
If you come with cash make sure you have what you want to pay. Thankfully we had the amount we wanted including tip because there was no change in the till.
OH! And if you have a table of 5+ youll be charged a 20% tip which isn't right
My wife chose this location. The staff is super friendly and took the time to give us suggestions on what to eat. My wife had the prime rib sandwich. I had the fried shrimp basket. Buffalo wings to start. The wings are so tasty and crispy. Would definitely come back to this location. Recommend this pub for a great experience. ????
Been going as a family here for 10 plus years. Wife has been coming since she was a kid. Never thought I would be saying we will never be coming back after today. Even with the food prices rising we still come here and never thought twice because it's good food and good service. Today though changed that. To charge a family (2 adults 4 kids) as a large party gratuity charge is absolutely ridiculous. I get it if we were a couple family's or whatever fine charge that but 1 single family is so absurd. Talk to one waitress says ya she never charges that for a single family but of coarse we got the one that does. If we would have known that we would of left when we sat down. To top it off, we ask to speak with a manager and was told she wasn't comfortable speaking to us because she's been drinking. Never ever encountered that before either. Tough to say me or any of my extended family will return. We live in Salem and still make the drive to eat here even after moving out of stayton area.
Fast and friendly service, large portions (my burger was massive), well prepared and tasty food, clean dining room, and an inviting atmosphere.
I was surprised when my burger arrived, and it was rectangular! But it was on a homemade bun (rectangular), and it was great! It was very busy when we were there, and the staff seemed to be handling it ok. It felt like a very home town atmosphere.
The food was great, but the service was horrible. We stopped in on Saturday afternoon to grab a quick bite. My guy and I were wanting to share a pulled pork nacho. When we asked the waitress for the nacho, she literally complained and asked us if we could order something else because she didn't want to make the nacho. She said that she "has had a really long day." In addition to that, she messed up our bill twice and hoped we wouldn't make her run back to correct our bill again, but of course I made her. It was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. If she doesn't want to serve the food that is on the menu, she shouldn't be working there. We will not be coming back.
