Stopped in for lunch. From the Winter menu I started with the Sweet Beet and Arugula salad and followed up with the Cajun Flatbread.
I have to say the salad was amazing, and I am not a huge salad person. The blending of flavors was just quite refreshing. It made me want to order another.
The Cajun Flatbread was also really good, A nice blend of flavors, though I would have like it to be a bit spicier, but it is hard to get spiciness good for everyone.
The restaurant itself was neat and clean. Has a nice atmosphere to enjoy with friends or family. The waitress was friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
Wood-n-Tap is a great a great place to go to eat. Looks like it would be good on game day too.
We ve been going to Wood-N-Tap for years both before and after COVID. After a disappointing experience at the end of the pandemic we decided to try it again. As their new menu suggests- things are much better now and the menu is varied and tasty. Excellent service and relaxed atmosphere.
The service was fast and efficient. The outside dining was great. The food is priced reasonably. The alcohol beverages were served just right with the amount of alcohol they should have if not alittle more. The food was great and plated nicely. The parking was good they had plenty of spots. They have gluten free meals as well.
Wood-n-Tap located in Southington Connecticut is a very good restaurant. The food is delicious. The service is okay but they have room for improvement. The same can be said for the atmosphere. They do have plenty of parking. We recommend this restaurant.
The wait staff was excellent and attentive and knowledgeable about most allergies and at least willing to find out.
The atmosphere is typical bar Style. I do love their fireplace area nice and warm not sure if it's the fireplace or the vents above.
This is not one of their larger places but well done. Do not come here if you want fast food though because it's not fast so don't expect that. The average is at least an hour or an hour and a half but sometimes I've been here for a couple of hours with dessert but very nice
Visited some friends out of town and was recommended to stop by here and try it out. I had the veggie burger and it was great. The staff was super friendly and super nice. I was helped by Colin and Autumn. There was another girl that was very friendly. I didnt catch her name but I thought she said it was Carolina?
I went for the first time with my girlfriend (she’s been here before). She ordered a bourbon sirloin which tasted fine but she wasn’t a fan of the texture as it wasn’t what she’s been used to in a sirloin. She’s never the type to send back food, so she just didn’t finish the steak. When the waiter asked how our food was, she told her her issue with it. Our waiter offered to get her something else, she politely declined as she didn’t want to be a problem. (I asked for a box for it anyways as the texture didn’t get to me as much as it did her, though I did see exactly what she was talking about)
While we waited for our bill, the manager came to our table to express how sorry he was and that he was knocking off the charge for the steak as an apology regardless. We were very appreciative as he definitely didn’t need to do that.
Wood-n-Tap in Southington was super busy on A Saturday night. Got seated after a short wait. Service was basic and friendly throughout dinner. Dirty Chicken Sandwich doesn't look immediately appealing when you get it, but it's actually pretty good. It has just the right amount of spice to add a little kick and the avocado balances it out. It is a good size sandwich also. Buffalo Chicken Wrap is loaded and tastes great. Short Rib Grilled Cheese is good also. You actually get a decent amount of short rib in the sandwich. Only downside to visit is that it took quite a long time to get the food served after it was ordered.
