Best WLM Reviews
The staff were very friendly and provided great recommendations for food. We tried the fried cheese (basically a crab Rangoon without the crab fried hard) the Seseme Shrimp. I wasn't a fan of the sauce and wish I had gotten it on the side. We also had the hot and sour soup. It was ok but not my favorite. We will likely not be back and were surprised this place was rated so high by trip advisor.
I have been to this establishment many times in the past and have never had a terrible experience until today. My family of four came in and we ordered our drinks. Our waitress didn't seem like she cared to be there. After getting irritated that we asked if they had Coke or Pepsi products, she then brought a large drink in an adult cup to my three year old. After asking her if we could have a cup with a lid, things only got worse. Our food was ordered and we waited for what seemed like ages in a dining room with only two other families dinning. We ordered sesame chicken and two combinations of chicken lo mein. The sesame chicken was cold as if it had just been taken from the fridge, plated and some seeds thrown on top. The chicken lo mein was like it was used from left overs and popped into the microwave and ready for serving. Our waitress played the best game of Houdini while we were there to the entire dining room of only two families. All parties were clueless to where she was and getting very agitated that we could not get her help. While in the meantime another waitress was running around dancing, laughing and making nonsense jokes about billions of dollars. I guess the joke was on us paying customers. Needless to say I'm sure Wongs got many bad complaints today as it deserved. As long as the staff here serves left over fridge food, remains to be unseen and plays class clown I will not spend any more time or money here and I would suggest you do the same.
Nastiest food. Definitely not chicken or beef. Beware, It is mystery meat! Dried out rice and mushy veggies. What a waste of $50!
My customers have been telling me about Wong's and how the good they are and how good their food is and usually when I go to a Chinese restaurant is for the buffet but this one does not have a buffet but oh my God they fill your plate and it is so delicious and the service there are so friendly I definitely won't make sure that I gave my server a tip her name was Ashley I highly recommend Wongs they are awesome ????????????
Ordered gluten free Singapore Rice Sticks and was given an overcooked pile of rice noodle with soy sauce containing gluten. Asked to speak with mgr was told Aneese was the manager, she tried to tell me I ordered something else very rudely. I have always ordered the same dish for me and husband for years now. Aneese started yelling at me that I ordered the wrong thing like a child, laughed at me and hung up on me. I am going to get sick from eating this, I took a bite without realizing it was different. The quality and morals of this business has gone downhill since new owners. Im out the money for 2 meals and whatever doctor bills ensue not to mention suffering the pain.
More than enough for a serving of food for the price. Loved the noodles they was cooked perfectly. I got chicken added but the chicken tasted off and I picked it all out.
I clearly stated no egg or onion in the pork fried rice. The person on the phone correctly read the order back to me. I got DOUBLE the usual amount of onion in big hunks. Egg rolls were doughy, containing half the usual amount of veggies. Very disappointed. Sorry Paul’s legacy of exceptional quality is not being honored.
This is what nostalgia tastes like. My family has been coming to Wong's Palace for over 3 decades. I moved to Atlanta over 12 years ago and really miss this place. Every bite reminded me of a simpler time as a kid. We ordered the Pu Pu Platter for 2 and everything was just as I remembered it. The Egg Rolls are exceptional and the Kabobs never disappoint. My wife was impressed with the quality of the food and the service. I'm so glad I got to come here again, I hope it isn't another 12 years before I come back!
