Been here three times in last few months. The wings are terrible now. Trip one, the wings were cold and chewy. Trip two, just got some Tots and beer, so kinda hard to mess that up. Last time I got the $7 Burger/Tots/3 wings deal. I couldn’t even eat the spongy nasty wings. The drum was uncooked. The burger was ok, but an amateur using a grill for first time could make that burger. That best part of the meal was dipping the tots in the extra “Wango” sauce. This may be a product of, “ You get what you pay for”. The beer lines needed to be cleaned. My beer draft tasted buttery. This was a first time at this location for that.
The plus side. Bartentender and staff are very friendly and I like the atmoshere. That’s why I come back.
They really do a good job of making sure the wings are consistently cooked to a crisp without being dry and over-fried. I prefer having them served 'dry' and dipping them in the sauce so if I don't finish them all on the first go they don't get soggy. But to each their own. Their curly fries and tater tots are great. My only personal qualm is the jalapeño poppers with cheddar cheese instead of cream cheese. There prices, like all, seem a tad high for what it is these days but I think that has more to do with the current costs. As should be understood- always a bit louder in places like this which is not my preference. Also, you have to make your way to the bar and get the attention of the bartender to get takeout instead of some places where you can get it right from the hostess in the front. I prefer them over their main competitor and will always find a football day where wings just feel like the right choice.
The wings are amazing as were the tots. Looking forward to trying their burgers next time I’m in town
Wings Etc. drafts are cold and refreshing. Tried out the seven with the "Tweener" and the sauce was a poured over and not tossed. The wings are ok, as this batch tasted overdone. Asked for a side of Wall and that helped being palatable with adding a bit more spice with a kick. This location had a few local beers on tap and really enjoyed the Michigan IPA. The Wings Etc. bar staff is friendly and changed screens to current NHL and NBA finals. Worth a try for a quick bite and affordable wings.
Very friendly and fast with their service! We had a large party and they got everyone order fresh, and correct!! The food was delicious!!! Our waiter was amazing!!!!
Literally had my take out on the cleaning cart in the corner. Heath department needs to violate this place. Waitress sitting there on her cell phone never even looked up and the place was empty. Had more than one bad experience here. Never going back.
Edit: There was a bottle of windex and another bottle of cleaner on hooked on the handle inches from my order. Plus the cart was stained and fithy. That's their practice in the open..... don't wanna think about the kitchen. I've had undercooked chicken in the Cajun pasta. Threw it away and still got sick from one bite.
We have frequented this place often in the past few years, but I feel this is ending as it has become so poor. We waited an hour for our food last night and when we brought attention to it to tbe manager, WE were yelled at that the ticket went in "22 minutes ago." It is not our fault that the server did not put our ticket into the kitchen after we ordered. Then, after yelling at us in a full restaurant the manager disappeared. Our food was cold, as well. Do not waste your money here. ????????????????????
Went in on lunch and the server did such a great job. The kitchen also nailed the food. The boneless wings were hot and fresh and the loaded fries ( with queso) are highly recommended as they put just the right amount of queso as to not make the fries soggy. Great Job today!
