First time eating here, and it was fabulous. Our server was fantastic. He was so kind and knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. I love the atmosphere inside but we wanted to eat outside. It was a nice little balcony area. The wine, cocktails, endless vacation, and food were spot on. We thoroughly enjoyed our French dip and M.C.T. I look forward to visiting again.
We enjoyed dinner here. The cheese platter was scraped clean. We had two orders of the hummus also demolished. Skirt steak and burrata were the other highlights. All seasoned and cooked perfectly. We sat downstairs and it felt cramped. There was always a server trying to squeeze around tables so the vibe wasn’t relaxed at all.
By far our favorite spot on the springs. We stop by a Sunday a month or so for brunch. The steak and eggs are perfect. I love the steak. It’s amazing. A new item is the pastrami salmon bagel it’s excellent. Perfect flavoring. The ride Mac n cheese is a fan favorite I’m sure. Perfect crisp and cheesy in the middle.
This was the second time my husband and I have visited Wine Bar George. The first time, we had brunch on the weekend. (Amazing.) His favorite was the frozen Old Fashioned they serve. We had to come back a second time specifically for him to have one. We went on a Monday thinking we would have brunch. Oops! They don’t serve brunch on Mondays, so we got the Big Board to split instead. One of the top three charcuterie boards we have EVER had. Absolutely delicious and the service was top notch. We will be back again!
I’m so happy we went here for lunch! The food was so delicious and so were the drinks. I loved the atmosphere and the service was also nice. We had the burrata, mussels and the branzino sandwich which I can’t get over, everything tasted perfect. The frozcato and American 75 were so refreshing. I would definitely be back - highly recommend.
This has become our favorite pre- race meal! Most recently my friend and I were in town for Princess Weekend. We had a reservation, but they were very busy as it was a rainy evening. We had to wait a bit for a table, but the hosts were very attentive, even brought us a drink while we waited. Once seated we ordered the buratta and mac and cheese bites as appetizers with a delicious bottle of wine and the skirt steak for dinner. The skirt steak comes with seasonal vegetables and always is enough both to fill us up for the evening and have leftovers. The perfect pre-half fuel!
Hungry for brunch after walking around Disney springs, so we decided to try this place after seeing the menu. We were seated right next to a window, which was nice and allowed us to look out and watch the people. The vibe inside is cozy casual, and there were plenty of tables to sit near windows or out on a patio area.
We ordered an omelet and the chicken biscuit. My boyfriend thought the omelet was fine. Nothing too special. The chicken was crispy and had a nice flavor with bacon jam and pimento cheese, but it could have used some more of those flavors or at least more of a sauce. We also ordered hot tea and they had a nice selection.
The service was really nice and I noticed that they asked about any allergies as soon as we walked in and made sure we were okay with stairs before walking up to the second floor. Cute place if you need a simple meal.
Stopped by Wine Bar George for a midday lunch. The Artisanal Cheese Board had four savory cheeses that paired well with the sweet honeycomb and earthy fig jam. Unfortunately, the entrees fell short. The Steak Frites lacked seasoning. A better topping was needed than the caramelized onion aioli. The New York strip French dip was a dry Philly cheesesteak. Restaurant decor is very quaint and rustic.
