Stopped by on my way to my gate on the B Concourse. I had a nice cold beer and the bartender was entertaining. There are no beers in tap at the "Taproom." Not much bar seating and with only one bartender, service was slow do to all the people wanting a beverage.
Price and food quality is to be expected for the airport, burger was pretty good. They nickel and dime you for everything, want cheese on that burger, that's $1, want fries instead of chips, that's a $1.
The staff is not great. Not all of them are bad, but a few of them. Not really nice to customers, like it's a chore to wait on you. They also talk badly about customers, I was sitting near the food pick up window.
Food was very tasty and the service was excellent. My only small complaint is that although they provided six potstickers, they weren’t very big, Especially for the price. However, they were tasty and very crispy, which I like.
Sitting here right now 5:52pm on 11/12/21. I have never been aggressively ignored by a bartender so rudely in my life, there ended up being a stack of people behind me waiting as well — she just refused to help us or take our order for over 5 minutes. Got the chicken tenders and fries and I swear the fries are boiled they are so soggy. Long island ice tea has nothing but sugar syrup in it. I am usually a 30% or more tipper, this is the first time in my entire life I have literally left a zero tip.
I waited for more than 30 minutes before I gave up.
The food looked terrible and the staff did not say hello let alone take my order. I’m glad after seeing other people’s bills. The bartender made 3 of the same drinks one at a time and had to look at the book. It looked like a tequila sunrise to me. The staff had no problem talking and acknowledging each other. The bar was empty but no place to sit with empty seats but counter was a mess from previous customers. I may not be the one to review since I did not buy anything or get any service. I was really trying to get a drink and some breakfast! I took my money elsewhere! I want to let others know to not waste your time or money!
Worst pork belly sliders of my life. I could've eaten all the pork from three sliders in one bite, but somehow they managed to put a "taste" on each slider with a ton of cabbage and spicy mayo. Definitely don't order the pork belly!
I waited for 5 minutes, no one acknowledged I was there. The guy next to me asked for a menu for me when they asked if he needed something. I waited another 10 minutes. I never saw the bartender again. I left.
Everything was equally terrible at the other airport restaurants, so I came back. I got a beer and ordered food all at once since I didn’t know if anyone would come back. I drank my beer. I ordered a second. The bartender was very difficult to get service from. Eventually I had to leave to catch my flight and I asked to have the food I didn’t receive removed from my bill. The bartender blamed me for not getting the food and said he’d have to wait for a manager to correct my check. I was moments between leaving without paying my bill but catching my flight, or paying and missing it. I barely made it.
I try to give the benefit of the doubt, but this place suuuuuuuucks.
I remember coming here years ago. Place was hopping, business travelers, good food at the bar, bar service was excellent, strong drinks (double for a dollar more), lots of life. Walk in there now and it's an utter joke. Can't get a cocktail to save your life and I've had stronger drinks at a junior high dance. The food is awful. I could have made the food they served for $1.50... sell me frozen things and give me a microwave. Avoid. BYO PB&J.
