My husband and I are locals to the area, but have never eaten here before. I ordered the rib eye (cooked to my liking) and my husband got the chicken fried steak, both were delicious. Staff was friendly and courteous even as it got busy. Dinner for two (including two sides and soup/salad) two beers, and soda. $66 bucks. We will definitely be going back :) Will get photos next time.
We've been by every #nchf for the last 8 or 9 years. But never stopped in. It was 7 0m on Wedsnesday and this was 30 minutes closer than Marysville so we stopped. The bar was pretty full but a couple seats were free so we pulled up to the bar.
Bartender was friendly but struggled a bit to keep up with food and drink orders and who was first but eventually managed to take car of everyone. We didn't mind at all. We all need to all relax. Our turn will come and ours did within moments.
We ordered burgers. Happily drinks were o. special since Wednesday is not only ladies night but if the lady's brings a guy they both get half price drinks. Food was great and beer selection good. Wine choice was good and drinks were made good too.
Place was clean. Bathrooms were ok. Nice outdoor patio. One issue was customers were vaping inside and smokers stood outside the doors drawing all the cigarette smoke in. I detest cigarette smoke.
If you are hungry or thirsty, do stop in and the burgers are great. Relax and be patient if the bartender is busy. You'll enjoy it more.
I’ve tried the burgers, fish and steaks and everything has been delicious.
Looks like they reopened on 8/24. Our burgers were cooked perfectly, and the one waitress was doing great with quite a few tables to herself. Good spot and we saw several locals happy the place was reopened.
Karaoke was great. Good sound. Friendly atmosphere.
Awesome place to eat . Mary the waitress was very nice, fast and thorough. Had a great dinner. Ribs to die for.
Great food, great price, great service. Folks at the bar were very loud
Great hometown/small town feel. Good food and service. Will visit again when back in area.
