Jack is the best person in Williamsburg for anything and everything Honda. He's a Honda expert and has saved me countless dollars by finding more economical solutions that the dealer would never even look for. I can't say enough good things about him.
3/2022 UPDATE: Just dropped by unannounced and showed Jack that my dashboard brake light never turns off. He immediately proceeds to open the hood and fills the brake fluid reservoir container with sufficient brake fluid. And just like that, and for free, Jack ensured that my Honda would be passing next month's State Inspection!
I was stranded on the side of 64 with a broken belt. I called and he said he would gladly help me and even recommend a tow truck. Wilson’s towing. The tow truck showed up in 10 min, I was at the shop in 7min and he immediately got my car in replaced the belt and got me back on my way. I can’t recommend him enough, amazing service.
I usually do not write reviews but I felt compelled to write this one! I was having a stalling problem with my 2013 Honda Pilot so I took it where I have always gone the local dealer after keeping my car for 3 days I was told I needed a new computer at the cost of around $1500.00 dollars, after talking to my husband he recommended that I call Jack at the Car Doctor where he gets his Corvette serviced.
I decided to call and get a second opinion so I dropped off my vehicle that evening and to my surprise by late morning the next day Jack called to inform me that he had found that some part of my wiring at the engine had been chewed probably by a mouse and the cost to repair was around $300.00 dollars and would be ready that afternoon ... needless to say I was shocked at the difference, Jack also texted me photos of the chewed wiring for me to see. I was so surprised I might add and told them to complete the repairs. I have had my car for over two weeks now and it is perfect. Jack is a TRUE Professional and I will tell all my friends and for my self I know where to go in the future and I am glad I finally took my husbands advice.
While vacationing in Williamsburg VA, I heard scraping sounds in my front wheels and suspected brake problems. It was Saturday night and we were leaving in the morning to head home. After calling Jack, the "Car Doctor of Williamsburg", ( @ 6:30 am in the morning) to see if he was open on a Sunday... he answered his phone, and promptly assured me he would do everything he could to get me back on the road. True to his word, we met him at his shop at 10:05, he diagnosed the brake problem, got brake pads, and installed them, test drove and charged me a very fair price to get us on the road in less than an hour!!!
These other reviews address his skill as a mechanic, but you can take my word that he goes above and beyond the call of duty, even when its not convenient. He's a wonderful ambassador for the greater Williamsburg area, and I would recommend him as your first choice for a mechanic!

My friends and I were on our way down to the beach when a nail in the tire threatened to ruin our trip. Fortunately, we weren't too far from this place. Within five minutes he had fixed the tire and we were back on the road. Excellent service!
My car broke down on a Friday.... 400 miles away from home. I called all the garages in the area. He was the only one that was able to see me. Got me going after just an hour of labor. I'm very grateful. If you live in his area, give this guy your business!
