Best WLM Reviews
First time trying and we got the swamp platter. Unfortunately they were out of a few things so we got it with the shrimp and 2 mussels but overall delicious and the sauce was so flavorful and sweet. Their sauce is definitely different than your typical Kicking Crab or Boiling Crab. Taste like it has sugar in it but it’s still so delicious and is definitely better than Kicking Crab. So if you are looking for a new seafood boil spot try this! Service was friendly and we came on a slow day so super attentive.
My husband and I stumbled upon Cajun Islands last Saturday, and it was an absolute delight. Tucked away from the bustling crowds, this hidden gem served up some of the best crawfish we've ever tasted. Our server, Karmen, made our experience truly memorable with her attentive service and warm hospitality. Despite the restaurant not being too busy, Karmen and the boy helping her make sure that we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our meal.
What truly impressed us was the genuine kindness and generosity displayed by the staff. Despite our initial oversight in not having enough cash for a tip, Karmen graciously allowed us to linger, refilling our waters and making us feel right at home in the neighborhood. Moreover, the boy helping her went the extra mile by offering to change the TV channel to accommodate my husband's preference for the baseball game.
As newcomers to the area, this level of hospitality meant the world to us. Even though Karmen didn't receive a tip initially, her professionalism and warmth never wavered. In fact, her genuine care left such a positive impression that my husband made a special trip back to the ATM just to ensure she received the appreciation she deserved.
In summary, Cajun Islands is more than just a restaurant; it's a place where delicious food meets exceptional service and genuine kindness. We'll definitely be returning soon to enjoy more of their Cajun food . Thank you Cajun islands!
This place was a vibe! Great food, warm inviting atmosphere, and attentive wait staff. I loved the atmosphere and throughly enjoyed myself. The staff were all super nice and made us feel welcomed. They struck up genuine conversations and gave good recommendation. The menu is pretty wide and they have a lot of great seafood and non-seafood options. There's a sale basically every weekday so it's definitely worth checking out.
I genuinely love this place. Its my first seafood boil place and the flavour is spectacular. I have loved this place for many years too but my love for food is directly correlated to cost and so a groupon is s must. The only joke i can make is they charge more for take out than eating in but refuse to include a table sheet with take out. I wish economic success for this business.
EDIT: they included a sheet. We asked on the phone if they included one but they said it was extra. Now theres nothing to note :)
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cajun Islands Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming atmosphere. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend Cajun Islands Restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious taste of the South. Can't wait to come back for more!
Amazing food and amazing flavor! The crawfish, shrimp, clams, and mussels were HUGE and so fresh. Customer service was so sweet and helpful. Definitely a must try when you’re in the area and craving some seafood!!!
I love the food at this place! I have to drive all the way from Fullerton, but it's worth it. Wonderfully spiced cajun Vietnamese fusion food, great chowder, and shellfish! Also, they have a good selection of tap microbrews with good prices on pitchers.
This place was so cool and the food was absolutely delicious we got 3 pounds of seafood for just over $50 and we couldn't even finish it all the seasoning is so perfect get the combo mixed flavors it's so yummy also the potatoes are something out of this world. The wings were really yummy and since it was Wednesday they were cheaper the oysters were fresh and definitely yummy too. I absolutely love love love this place it's going to be my new-found cajun favorite.
