This restaurant was super accommodating to my party of people, many of which have allergies. Service was moderate paced, especially considering the number of people at the restaurant at the time. Our server Jessica was super sweet and attentive to our various needs. Everyone was super helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes. This is an inviting place to eat lunch, and I’ll definitely be returning in the future.
Great place! Beautiful setting and atmosphere. The food is AMAZING. I highly recommend the smoked Gouda burger. I can't wait to come back in the summer during the busy season so we can enjoy the patio and watch the boats.
I’d say the Butler is a long time staple in Saugatuck. It’s been a long time since I’ve been here, but I had a nice beer and some clam chowder and a Caesar salad here for dinner. It’s always a fairly active atmosphere here, and I was happy to get a seat at the bar in short order. The staff was professional, but things stay pretty busy. The soup was delicious. If you can get a seat I’d definitely recommend them.
We ADORE this place & look forward to it every year! We’ve never had a bad experience. The bartenders are always social & interactive, which we appreciate! Definitely our favorite place in Saugatuck!
Shared a basket of truffle fries and had a couple of beers with a friend. Nice place right on the water. Good food and good service. Jeremiah did a great job!
My husband and I came here for our anniversary in January and loved it! My husband got the steak special, and I got the pan seared Great Lakes walleye. We also took home a key lime cheesecake, and it was also delicious!
The atmosphere is definitely better than the food. I got the soup of the day, lobster bisque and it was just not good. My mom got the clam chowder which looked a lot better. We split the fish sandwich because most of the stuff that wasn’t an entree were burgers or salads. There wasn’t much diversity in options. The pickles that came with the sandwich were soggy. They also tried to first seat us next to the server station when most of the restaurant was empty and we had to ask for better seating. They accommodated . But you don’t go to a restaurant with water views to sit next to the server station…
Talia was an excellent server! The food was delicious! The playlist was so good! The views are incredible ????
