The food was amazing. I'm not sure if they were short staffed, but the cashier had to bring the food out, too, which was causing a line at the register. She did amazing, for what she was delt. They were out of paper towels in the restroom, or the dispenser wasn't working. Overall, I was highly satisfied, and so was everyone in my group. I've been here a few times, and the food is always great! Enjoy!
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 on the food was the brisket. Way too dry and not fatty enough for my taste. Still. 5 Stars overall. The sausage was amazing. Beef tips really good. Service and atmosphere is outstanding! Keep in mind that I am currently doing the Keto/Carnivore Diet, so I didn't sample their sauces. I also passed on today's special which is a Prime Rib Sandwich. Sounds amazing, but again, Keto, When in Harlan, you gotta go to Bucksnort!
We planned ahead to have a group of 26 motorcycle riders from Des Moines and Omaha meet for lunch. Shauntel was great to work with ahead of time, happy to have us come and made sure they were staffed to handle us. Once we got there the staff was great, they kept us in an area by ourselves so we could mingle, and the food was fantastic! They worked hard to keep up with our requests, especially with us moving around. We understood we wouldn't all get our food at the same time with such a large group, but hats off to all of them for a great experience! It wasn't our first time there and won't be our last!
Stopped in with my fiancé since new ownership we usually order in council bluffs since it’s closer but we happened to be in Harlan. Buck snort has always been one of our favorite places to stop and get food It did not disappoint food was absolutely amazing as always , whitetail nachos always a fave of mine , fiancé said the burger was juicy and flavorful , tater tots crispy and fried to perfection. Service was great very friendly and efficient, restaurant was nice and clean. We will definitely revisit and recommend this location.
great food and service was friendly the Swamp donkey burger was great, brisket was tender. I had some potato salad with it was tasty more mayo based no mustard
The food was great, as is usually the case. They were very quick to bring us our food.
Just had lunch here and I must say I was very impressed with the Service. I ordered the nachos which was amazing so much flavor in one dish. The new owners were so kind. I will definitely be eating here again.
People I order a deluxe chicken cordon bleu which has ham Swiss egg and mayo and crispy chicken and what they gave me is crispy chicken party with lettuce and tomato and also just fries when I wanted cheeseballs how is this even possible ? One more thing I called them back and it was like I was talking to my self they answer but didn’t say nothing about just voices behind I mean if you don’t wanna deal with this then make your job correct I’m not trying to be mean or anything but the least they could of done was gave me the right order and take the other food back but they didn’t
