Im going to get right to it. The meat is succulent, with juicy flavor. Not over or undercooked. Everything was cooked to perfection. No exaggeration. Amazing brisket. Well seasoned and tender. Collard greens remind me of home each bite. The lemon pepper hot chicken wings were hot and tasty. The loaded fries with shrimp and brisket had me excited for each bite accompanied by honey sauce. The mac and cheese was great with the meal and the cornbread was a nice filler in the meal. The catfish is the best I’ve ever had (the previous best I had was a great spot in Virginia). The whole menu is going to be something you’ll love.

My wife and I were passing through Casa Grande on our extended anniversary vacation. As we were driving into town, she was reading Google reviews trying to find us some dinner. She came across the reviews for The Bird Box. Conveniently, it was not far from the hotel we were staying in so we decided to give it a try.

As we pulled up I was a little worried if I’m honest. There was no one there. Based on the reviews I expected the place to be hopping. We walked right up to the window and chatted with the owner (sorry, didn’t catch his name) who was super friendly and personable. We placed our order and he went to work.

I got the brisket and shrimp loaded fries and wanted to try some of the wings (I looove a good wing) so I ordered 6 of the honey garlic. My wife ordered the catfish nugget plate.

The food was ready relatively quickly, probably because we were his only customers at the time. The catfish was really good! Best I ever had? No, but really close. I mean REALLY close. The hush puppies and fries were excellent as well.

The wings were fantastic! Large, meaty, juicy wings that were well cooked but not over cooked, as chicken should be. The honey garlic sauce was probably some of the best I’ve had.

The loaded fries? They were something else! Maybe fries loaded with tender, flavorful brisket and honey garlic shrimp is a normal thing where you’re from. They definitely are not where I live. They were lightly seasoned with some ghost pepper seasoning that gave the perfect amount of heat as well.

Casa Grande, y’all are sleeping on this food truck! There is absolutely no reason why there shouldn’t be people lined up down the block.

This food truck is by far the best casa grande has to offer. It is own and operated by a local family who have been providing above and beyond service to my boyfriend and I for a while now. They are very friendly courteous and the food is exceptional.

Good lil hidden gem off on the side. Definitely stop over and get you something! I tried plain wings, catfish nuggets, and the Mac. Food is good, customer service is A-1!

Wow!! This may have been the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Coming from Chicago, I have high expectations in terms of my BBQ food. But this food truck was incredible. I was welcomed as soon as I got in line. Customer service was amazing and the owners really take pride in their food and it shows in flavor. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The wings were so good. Perfect ribs as well. I’ll DEFINITELY be back soon. Thankful this spot was recommended to me!

Since it is a food truck type atmosphere at the moment, it was a little ???? ???? hot, but the food and the service OMG OMG !!! AMAZING !! Well worth the money, and heat !! Will return repeatedly !! Would recommend to anyone who LOVES BBQ.

Wasn't aware that they didn't have barbecue on MondaysAnd Tuesdays. I went for 1/2 lb brisket, mac n cheese and greens, which are great. So decided on Honey Garlic wings and onion rings, don't usually care for wet rub but have to admit it was perfect amount of sweet, heat, garlic. Never disappointed with food or service

I swung by on Tuesday at around 7, their posted hours said they were open until 9. No truck. I called and he said “sorry, we’re closed today. We’re open for the rest of the week until 9.” Ok. Went back on Wednesday at 7. The truck was there, but they said they were closed early! Drove by today at 5 o’clock. Posted hours say they’re open until 8pm. Truck isn’t even in the parking lot. Thats three days in a row.

Giving them an extra star cause the pictures of their food look delicious. But I’ll never know cause they’re open whenever they feel like it I guess. I’m not going to fight to give them my money anymore.
