Waitstaff is extremely friendly and helpful with questions. She suggested the Alfredo, and I tried it, and I wasn’t disappointed! Simple but very delicious! Chicken & shrimp were cooked perfectly. The side salad was a bonus, along with the breadsticks. The chicken bacon ranch wrap was also very good and the fries were fresh, hot, and delicious! Thank you guys!
We got the Philly sandwich- good. Fries crispy- cooked just right. And the pasty- beautiful and delicious! The best we have had by far. So good we got some to go. ????
Small town buffet diner with some good pasties! It does have a bar/saloon side but it somewhat separate from the restaurant part. They also offer takeout.
Quiet place to eat with good food. If you want to get out of the tourist craziness just drive about 7 miles east on 28 to Bears Den. Had my first Pasty (with gravy) and I definitely approve. Nice selections of beers even if I just had a Blue Light. Careful not to drive by, the sign has a lot going on and the name is small. Michelle did a nice job behind the bar.
Great little place we stumbled upon on our way through the UP. Great homemade pasties and great people! We will be back for sure.
Don’t let the owner’s outlook on the world deter you, regardless of all the signs stating the bathroom is only for customers, don’t come in if you feel sick, no alcohol to minors, etc. the food is AMAZING. The old school real mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious and the beef pasty was piping hot and very tasty. Server was very friendly and capable.
Bears Den pizza was pretty good. There's a full bar here and decent beer selection. Large enough place for a big crowd. There's a pool table too
This restaurant has lots of room and the tables aren't all crammed together. Excellent service, friendly staff. Try the Michigan/Wisconsin burger!
