All the gluten free menu options almost brought me to tears! Having a place I can safely eat and enjoy my favorite foods has been incredible. I was shocked to hear all the options they had and when I tried the gluten free chicken tenders I had to do a double take because they were so delicious! The staff was knowledgeable in their gluten free menu options and gave great suggestions. I appreciated how they were able to keep my food separate from my gluten infested husband’s meal, thank you for giving the gluten free community a safe and delicious option!
Reserved an area for my daughter's 21st birthday (you drink free on your birthday). our server was very nice, friendly, and seemed genuine with wanting to serve us. We went on a Thursday, which is pizza night. Played some darts. You could watch people play volleyball out the windows if you want. They also have pool tables and gambling machines.
We came in for some drinks and probably eat after College Softball at the Rec Plex dome. Place was packed. Lots of Youth hockey families. Very loud. Very crowded. Sat at the bar. Staff was attentive. Very well staffed. Not sure if the same person served me more than one beer.
The Sand Volleyball courts looked like fun. Looked like a rough time for them but handled it well. We will definitely go back. Hopefully we can eat next time.
The Ironic thing is we have a place we frequent called The Bar in MN. Keep rocking it. See you next time. The food I saw looked amazing.
We're there for a late lunch today. Felt like they nickel and dime you. $.69 for each cup of ranch/blue cheese with your wings. They come with 0 included. Also added a 3% restaurant fee. Traditional wings were small, boneless wings seemed like minced popcorn chicken. Overall just very underwhelming.
Repeat customer stopped at The Bar (Oshkosh) for date night on a Friday evening, about 6pm. The establishment was jumping with end of week excitement and was about 2/3 full in dining area. Wife and I quickly sat and were discussing the enjoyable food we have indulged in during past visits. 2 different staff members passed us with no greeting and no offering of menus / drinks only to clear multiple other tables, making multiple passes. We were quite disappointed the staff was not friendly enough to say “I’ll be right with you, I just need to clear these tables quick,” let alone an acknowledgement of our presence, or even a “hello.” After the fourth or fifth passing, wife and I simply left. Very cold hospitality / atmosphere from staff. After about 10 minutes of no acknowledgment, we left for another local small business. Hopefully this experience was an anomaly and not a new threshold of service.
I ordered for 25 people and couldn’t have been more pleased! They kept the food fresh and arrived 10 minutes early! The staff that I interacted with were friendly and professional. Can’t wait to stop in for a beer and a burger!
Would be a 2 star if it wasn't for my man Chandler! Ordered perch and sweet potato fries. Was brought burnt sweet potato fries. Original bartender that took the order (Long hair and stache) did not acknowledge me after I said he forgot the perch for 20 minutes until Chandler asked and took care of me! Had my order done right within 5 min!
First time here with my wife and two daughters. Service was good. Not long after sitting down, we had a waitress taking our drink orders. Food was served to our likings. Lots to choose from the menu. Had a good experience here. Cool place to go to eat and / or drink!!! Will be back again in the near future. Keep up the great work ????????!!!
