My preferred place for authentic Thai food in the area. Jungle curry was really addicting and spicy. Dry ground pork curry was very delicious. The Thai style chicken wings could of used a spicy dip on the side but still good.
Joy and her staff love to bring delicious Thai food to Fairbanks! I love her beef salad and green curry. The kids love her fried rice! The ingredients are fresh and everything is cooked perfectly.
Don’t be turned off by the food hut appearance. The kitchen is a large commercial kitchen and they can cook some great Thai food.
Bonus: kids get a treat!!
Alright, they've redeemed themselves in my book. I was annoyed when they were closed for the winter but was still listed as open. They're open now so I gave them a try.
No papaya salad since it's out of season. I got the green curry with chicken ($17) and it was delicious! Large portion and the chicken was flavorful and tender. The vegetables were fresh; you could really taste how fresh the basil was.
The service was good too. The lady inside was friendly, down-to-earth, and funny. I'm glad was able to give them a try.
I lived in Thailand for 2 years and have missed really amazing thai food.
I randomly came upon this place and Decided to give it a shot…. I’m so glad I did! The food is so fresh and so authentic and the owner is super sweet.

The lady at the hut was extremely rude and short with me. She was agitated with everything I asked for. I accidentally asked for Papaya salad even though they only serve it on Saturdays and she snapped at me and said: you can’t read the menu, only Saturdays. This was my first time ordering here and I will not be coming back due to the rude service, it recked my whole experience.
We have a lot of Thai food to choose from in this town, and there's some good ones, but this is definitely my new favorite! Food is fresh, consistent, and flavorful. The fried egg on the gaprao is the best fried egg I've ever had. Pad thai has big crispy tofu chunks and fresh bean sprouts. A must try!
Amazing drive thru service. Great selection of popular Thai foods. Owner is down to earth, so kind and makes to your perfection and taste. I recommend the foods and service is awesome!!
2596 College Road, Fairbanks, AK 99708 The food was good, split the Thai fried chicken on Saturdays and the Orange Southern Thai Style Curry with my brother. The curry was spicy, hot and fresh, and the crispy chicken has a sort of dried onion and sticky rice side. A perk of lunching at The Bangkok on Saturdays and Wednesday is special, not crowded parking next to the Tanana Valley Farmers Market. However, it turns out just eating here was the Saturday experience I wanted, sort of crowd-adjacent rather than in the thick of the townsfolk. I could still hear the band next door, the weather was fantastic with a hot sun and nice breeze, and the one-way traffic flow made leaving the parking area a lot less frustrating than the hubbub of the Market.
