Best WLM Reviews

Thai Peacock was a random place we found while visiting Portland. I was heavily disappointed with the drinks. I ordered the mango sticky rice drink and something in it was spicy which didn't fit. The mango margarita also tasted similar minus the coconut cream.
The food more than compensated for the underwhelming drinks. I recommend the pad see ew. Be warned about the spice levels. I ordered it 4/5 but unlike other places it was actually spicy (which was appreciated) but in hindsight I'd probably do a 3/5.
I would visit again but no drinks for me.
We stopped in here on a whim because we were trying to kill some time and we love Thai food.
A wonderful surprise! This was some of the best Thai food I've ever had. The service was great and super quick. The food came out with in 10 minutes of ordering and it was all fantastic. The flavors were so strong and I would go back anytime I am in Portland.
My favorite restaurant in the city.
My husband's 40th birthday was yesterday, so we celebrated with dinner at Thai Peacock! Pictured are the following:
Pad Med Ma-Muang
sweet chili jam stir fried, roasted cashew, onions, red bell, mushroom, fresh cut mango, seafood (shrimp, scallops, squid), rice noodles in place of rice
Pad Khi-Mao
wide rice noodles, basil, garlic, egg, onion, red bell, tomato, mushroom, beef
Crab Cream Cheese Wontons
house sweet chili sauce
Each dish was fantastically flavorful and so filling! The crab cream cheese wontons were some of the best I've ever had. We walked home with full tummies and leftovers. I can say, it was well worth the price for the flavor profiles and amount they serve. Service was excellent as well! Definitely will be returning!
Wow this place was so good!! They even catered a wedding event for some friends. Like it’s that good. I can’t even pick a favorite between all the food I got because they’re all great options. All the noodles and the crispy trout were so yummy.
I understand that you would like me to revise and improve the text you provided. Here's my best attempt at making it clearer and correcting any errors:
"I recently visited this place for the second time and was impressed with the small and cozy ambiance. The food was delicious, and I decided to try the Pad Khi-Mao (vegan and gluten-free), the Jungle Curry with Egg Noodle (also vegan but overpowered with ginger), and the Leches Hibiscus Juice. The standout dishes were the Pad Khi-Mao and the Leches Hibiscus Juice. Although the prices were a bit high, the quality and taste of the food were worth it."
A Thai spot that’s solid for pickup in downtown Portland west side. It’s located right by Powell’s which is super convenient unless you want to dine in, which makes parking very difficult and the wait times can be 30-60mins.
The pad Thai here is super tasty and not overly salty. The fried rice seemed a touch oily, but was still nice and moist with a good flavor that wasn’t washed in soy sauce.
The salmon wasn’t cooked the best and didn’t have the greatest flavor in general, but the pineapple pork was very tasty and a great texture.
Overall I’m glad I checked it out and would likely pick up from them again so I could try more of the menu.
Came during a busy lunch hour. They have set menu for drinks. Pretty limited bar. Ordered the kha soi. Delicious.
Curry with steamed and fried egg noodles. You can pick your protein. I had chicken. Wonderful toppings. Fast service.
Affordable meal. Only $15
I had it with white wine
The environment is great, the waitress is nice and the food is good. Personally didn’t find anything too impressive so gave 4 stars, but more like 4.3 if I could.
