As a Thai person, I can say this is the best Thai food in Maui. I ordered the Basil Chicken, and they use holy basil, which is very tasty and authentic. I highly recommend this place. I came back twice and ordered the same thing.
This was highly recommended by a staff member of our hotel. Their fish salad was phenomenal! Dont be fooled by the photo, there's a good amount of fish under the salad. Fish was crunchy outside but tender and juicy and perfectly cooked inside. The tanginess and crunch of the green mango salad with the dressing was a perfect complement to the umami of the fish. The dressing added a delightful touch making it a refreshing and filling dish. We were hesitant to order it at first but omg soooo good! The spring rolls were delicious too!
Shrimp Padthai was good. I would say a bit too sweet and at $18, it was pricey for the portion.
We saw this food truck area on our way to the beach and decided to stop by to get some food. We ordered drunken noodles, pad Thai, Tom yum and spring rolls. Everything was delicious. From getting in line to receiving our order it only took 20 mins. They were giving out orders so fast it almost felt like ninjas working in there ????. All in all we had a good experience, huge area with a lot of picnic tables. will certainly go back.
This is a review of this food truck parking lot. I actually did not eat the Thai food by Siri but my wife actually purchased their food and loved it. She said the pad Thai was delicious in some of the best she's ever had she raved about it.
I actually ordered the Greek gyro which was from the truck next door And it was really good as well. I would say for the most part food seemed fairly reasonable. There were a few trucks that seemed kind of expensive but overall a good selection of food I would say if you want to take a family there you probably have a few options all in one location.
So my wife and I tried the Thai food and I ordered the Greek and we thought they were both great.
It was showering a bit while we were there which made it difficult to eat and by the time we finished we had to run away because there was no umbrellas of any kind or any shelter to avoid getting soaking wet in the rain. There were a lot of picnic tables around to sit at though.
Good place to go get a variety of food and have some options though.
5 stars food and 5 stars service. I asked the Beef and Broccoli to be as spicy as they could, and wow, so spicy I loved it so much!! It's the worst when I go to Thai food and I ask for it spicy and they wimp it down (probably because I look pretty white?). We also ordered the red curry with pineapple (special for the day) and it was very good. The drunken noodle with chicken was also pretty good (though my wife ordered it so it was mild...so not as good as the broccoli beef I ordered ????). The only reason it gets 4 stars for atmosphere is because it is in a gravel parking lot facing a shopping center.
Honestly really disappointed. I eat Thai food regularly and lived in Thailand for a couple years. I was stoked to see a Thai food truck here in Maui so I ordered the pineapple fried rice. ….. I’m honestly confused here. No egg, no veggie. Just onion and a few strands of carrots, tossed with a few cashews and shrimp in a yellow-pasted long grain rice. Very dry, didn’t taste Thai at all. Fried rice is a staple at every Thai restaurant so I’m not super jazzed that this was not even close. Very bland, and definitely not Thai. :( wouldn’t go again, especially for $16 for this.
Ordered the drunken noodles with chicken. I don't know why the reviews are saying tasteless. The flavor was amazing. The whole dish was prepared wonderfully. The only reason why I only gave 4 stars because the noodles were not drunk enough (needs more sauce).
