Christopher did an excellent job on my tattoo. He listened to my ideas and let me tweak my design until I was absolutely satisfied. His artistic eye and attention to detail really impressed me. My tattoo is to honor my granddaughter fighting a rare genetic disease. I’m in the medical field and appreciated his attention to cleanliness and sterile techniques. 10/10 would recommend.
I recently went to Christopher to add onto to an existing tattoo in honor of my daughter who has a rare genetic disorder. He was extremely patient with me while we looked at flower options and placement. I will be going back to get her name tattooed next. I highly recommend Christopher and Texan Tattoo!
I have had both of my daith piercings done in the past week and they’ve done an amazing job both times and I’m really looking forward to getting some relief from it. The piercer (Chris) was awesome as well!
If you are looking to get a piercing, this is the place you definitely want to go! Just amazing.
I really debated leaving a review because I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but my experience here was just not great.
I went in for a septum piercing about two weeks ago and I should have walked away when the piercer didn’t clean my nose before applying the clamps. That’s on me for not speaking up and advocating for myself. Once the piercing was done I wasn’t offered a mirror or anything to even see the piercing, which was red flag number two. I was not surprised to see that the piercing was uneven and way too low, but decided I would give it a while to heal and see what happened. Also, unsurprisingly it was infected the next day. I’ve had multiple piercings and never an infection. I can’t help but speculate that this would not have occurred if the area would have been cleansed before hand as I followed all post piercing cleaning correctly. I had an appointment with an APP certified piercer last night and before he even looked at what I wanted done he asked, “you know your septum is way wrong, right?”. I was advised to remove the piercing (which I have now done) and have it re-pierced correctly.
So basically I wasted $60 on a bad experience and an avoidable infection.
This shop might be fantastic for other piercings as the other reviews state (and is why I went here) but not for septum piercings.
Got my nose pierced on both sides by Christopher on two different occasions. He is extremely professional and makes you feel very comfortable. I wouldn't go anywhere else for piercings. Great experience!
A.J. has done all 12 of my tattoos. We're not done with the 12th as it's a half sleeve and is taking multiple sessions but I told him what I wanted and he's creating an amazing masterpiece that I couldn't be happier with. It's a great, clean shop with a laid back atmosphere that I love and would highly recommend to anyone.
Everytime I go in here everyone’s always so nice and professional. I’ve gotten quite a few tattoos from multiple artists and they do an amazing job every time! Super easy to set up appointments and they’re always willing to take walk-ins! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get a tattoo!
I’ve had all of my tattoos except one done here! The one I didn’t have here was because I was in a scavenger hunt in Port Aransas… anyway- besides the point. Texan Tattoo is the best place for a tattoo- I have friends who have come from Oklahoma and Lubbock and Fort Worth and many more places just for the expertise of Texan Tattoo! They also take parents credit cards, just sayin.
