Everything about this place was great from the waitress, food, hookah, and music! Those lamb chops on the special. Yes ma’am! Cooked to perfection. I would return just for the lamb chops and music. Great Sunday funday vibes.
Mia was our server...she was polite & professional, which is hard to find in Atl! The food was AMAZIIIIIIIIING! The lobster, shrimp, and crab legs were BUSSIN! Let me not forget the forget yhe delicious plantains! The Lemon Drops were OOOOOOO-WEEEEEEE! IT'S A REGULAR SUNDAY VIBE ON THIS END! YESSSSSSSSS.......TERANGA CITY!!!!! YESSSSSSS....ONE HAPPY ATLien!!!!!????????????

Overall giving this place a 4. Can be crowded depending on what time you go. I got the lamb chops, jollof rice ,& took the seafood platter to go. Best time to go is happy hr. Drinks are cheap and so is food. Be mindful there is a 20% gratuity added to your tab when you close out. The peach margarita was my favorite. Music was good but seating is limited. RSVP before you go, that way you’re guaranteed seating. You also have to pay for parking, but if you drink get an UBER
Went for happy hour on a Thursday. Finding parking and getting a table was easy at the time we went, 2pm. I was told later in the day after 6 that it's a lot more crowded. The decor was super cute, nice patio and interior. 1 stall bathroom was a little annoying. The hookah was smooth and came pretty quick. Happy hour price is $15! So that's great. We had house margaritas. The price on the menu is $5, but they upcharge an additional $2 for flavor. Our waitress didn't mention, but I was a little annoyed with that. The food was on point!!!!! $5 lamp chops, $1 wings... you can't beat the price, but the flavor was great! Overall, I would recommend and return!
Went for happy hour and was NOT disappointed! $1 chicken wings, $5 margaritas, $2 shorts, $15 hookah (1pm-5pm). It’s easy to run up a check. The vibe was everything. The food was great especially the fries. I was full. My server was Princess and she was friendly and had good recommendations. Will definitely go again.
Even after reading all the good & bad comments I decided to check it out for myself. Typical Atlanta restaurant, horrible service, misleading specials, rude a** hostess / waitresses. After paying $20 to park it took 15 minutes before the hostess returned to the front to seat us. After being seated it took another 35-40 minutes for a server to take my order after REPEATEDLY getting up asking the hostess / other waitresses / front bartender for someone to take our order. I ended up putting in my drinks at the bar after not being serviced all for our actual waitress to come out & take our order 10 minutes later. I communicated with her & let her know I had already put in our order for drinks at the bar thinking she would go to the bartender / communicate with her. She did NOT. Waitress ended up giving us our drinks first, all for the bartender to come with another round of drinks from the bar. She then made a snarky comment about “Well you should’ve clarified hun,” before rolling her eyes & walking away. They serve all the food in to go containers. Even the hookah server was rude after I turned her away saying we needed a server not hookahs! Lamb chops were great, the jerk chicken wings were not jerk, reminded me of mild wings honestly. Won’t be coming back to wait almost a hour to be served, & nasty a** attitudes from the bartenders / servers. Never again I’ll patronize somewhere better. Tried it but please believe the reviews & not the hype they show / post on social media! The ONLY good thing about this establishment was the DJ was on point with the music & the vibes & the security guard checked on us several times & offered way more hospitality / customer service out of all the other employees that we interacted with that day.
Teranga city was a vibe. We got there at 1:30 on a sat. morning we made a reservation in advance it was 9 of us. We got checked in and were seated. The server was very nice and brought everything we asked for. The only thing I think I didn't receive was my plantains and I'm not sure what happened, but i forgot to ask. The hookah girl was nice and gave nice recommendations. They have outside and inside places to sit. Nice atmosphere. Food was DELICIOUS. Wings were $1 a piece min. Of 5. Lamb chops $5 min. Of 3. $5 margaritas. I had jollof rice, orka and wings all of it was cooked fresh and good tasting. They got the tables cleaned up immediately after you were done with something. We brought a cake in and they put it up for is until we asked for it. The server came out with the cake and sparklers and they had a happy birthday sign. Awesome time we will be back!
Finally found a place that delivered on EVERYTHING. Staff; friendly, courteous and prompt with service and suggestions. Lobster bites…phenomenal perfectly cooked and the Jolloff rice…If you know YOU KNOW. Crab cakes…yaaas. Last but not least!!! Grilled snapper is SLAP YA MOMMA GOOD OK. Ion know what that sauce is but I wanna bath in IT! I’ll NEVER be the same ❤️ Thank you Teranga City Uktra Lounge for the experience ???? Food is some of the best I’ve had since I’ve been in Georgia the past 6 years.
