First time going to this place today food was absolutely awesome loved it quiet atmosphere close to home will definitely be going back
Food was ok. I got the seafood upon which only had two pieces of shrimp and some fake crab as the seafood and was underwhelming. I asked for hot sauce to make the udon better but all they had was siracha and said they will charge me for it. It also tasted instant. Also had the two roll lunch special and the spicy tuna and spicy salmon didn't have much flavor. My friend had the beef yaki soba udon and he also said it was meh. He said the noodles tasted better than the steak. The place was a little run down. We won't be running back here any time soon unless we want chinese style takeout Japanese food.
If you want to support a family owned business and get some good hibachi definitely come here. I got the chicken hibachi meal it was absolutely delicious!! And we got the calamari that was so tasty and crunchy , sweetest customer service! The sushi was good too but my favorite was that chicken!! Can’t wait to be back soon.????????
Update... wow... your price have gone up and your portions have gone down. Trying to charge for a cup of common hot sauce... thats like McDonald's charging for mustard packages. Front staff is hard to understand/ does not communicate well. Last time coming here.
The dining area is neat and clean. Staff is not overly friendly but not rude just kind of there. The food was very good and the portions were very nice. It's a bit on the pricey side for a place that mostly does to go orders. It's not my go-to place for that reason, but if you have a craving for hibachi, they get the job done.

Have been ordering from Tenji for a few years now. It’s close to home so we default to ordering and picking up. The last few times I’ve been disappointed. I was astonished at my ginger salad that literally had only a handful of iceberg lettuce and 1 half slice of cucumber and no carrots. Gyoza was not cooked as requested- crispy. Staff is uninterested and wait time is always longer than verbally instructed. Too expensive to be disappointed.
Really good for long wait. They said 20 mins I got there and waited an hour since placing so not accurate time given. Food was amazing good price but the girl in the front was running around taking care of everyone while I was waiting way longer so should be priority. 10/10 would come back but hope the front cashier gets it together ???? krab blossoms were the bomb ⭐️
