Best WLM Reviews
A very welcoming environment. Good music. The food was absolutely delicious and the serving was enough for two people. The best West African food I've had in a while. Try and believe me you won't be disappointed. A special thanks to HARVEY for his very pleasant disposition.
Upon arrival, welcoming owner/staff. House beverages are creative and elegant. The aroma is impeccable. Definitely my favorite African cuisine place to dine and enjoy a quality meal. My family and I could not stop talking about this place from every aspect.
First time and surely not the last time I'll be here, was an experience to try some African food cooked in the traditional way. The flavors were so vibrant really caught me by surprise. TJ the owner was so hospitable and kind to us. We enjoyed it very much! Thank you!
I was hungry and came across this magical place few night ago. The food is amazing and the place is extremely clean and welcoming. The vibes, music everything is great! To my African Bro/Sis this is paradise away from home
On an errand in Seabrook and looking for a place for a late lunch. I'd never had African food before but the reviews were good so figured worth a try. I'm glad we did; it was outstanding. Ordered the Kelewele (spicy plantains) for appetizer and beef and chicken for entrees. Absolute best plantains I've had; cooked and seasoned to perfection with peanuts as accompaniment. Wonderful combination. Generous servings for both the beef and chicken entrees; served with delicious sauce and rice and plantains. Overall terrific experience; felt like a guest in owner's home. Worth the trip even if coming from DC. Lucky find.
This was my first time ever eating west African food and it did not disappoint! The cuisine was phenomenal and the service was great. If you are ever in the area you need to add this place to your must visit list. I will be coming here many more times.
Chef Frank truly did his thing !!????????????????????????The quality of food at this restaurant set a whole new standard for me. I had the opportunity to try the red snapper dish, it was one of the best dishes I have had this year. I will definitely be returning.
Great ambience and amazing food. I would highly recommend trying out the fufu meal and plantain! If you're not sure what to order, ask the owner, he's awesome to speak with and very friendly. Please support this local west African restaurant ????
