Pappadeaux is a family favorite restaurant that we have gone to over more than 25 years. The food is always great, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I especially like the patio area!
Service tonight seemed a bit slow, but otherwise we had an enjoyable evening.
I haven't been to this restaurant for years and it has been there for a very long time and is still very good. The menu offered unique offerings that matched the theme of the restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. I have included some photos, but everything we ordered was excellent. The prices seemed a bit higher than I remembered, but I would still return, as I felt that the quality for the money was worth it.
The food was great, the service was great, and we had a blast. My visit prior to this one (last year) was just ok, but this one was hands down the best yet: I ordered the Crispy Salmon and Jumbo Crab. Also comes with the shrimp and noodles ???????????? the flavors of the sauce and noodles were amazing and it just all came together so well, absolutely love this dish and the server was great. Kudos to the chef!!!! I came with a group of 11 people and everyone was beyond satisfies with everything they ordered!!!! Thank you.
Pappadeaux is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. I always have to have a swamp thing. My go to dish is the mardi gras pasta but I also enjoy the seafood platters. Which is what I had on this visit. I would usually always get a piece of key lime pie but this time I tried the banana pudding and it was delicious. The service and food and atmosphere was all good. Our server Megan K. was great. She was so accommodating. She paid attention to our request and made our experience wonderful. She even took pictures for my friend and I. The overall experience was really nice. I can't wait to return.
This was my first time here and I was greatly satisfied!
[Disclaimer: I had to wait a LONG time for a table but it was well worth the wait! I went on a Saturday night with no reservation so that was on me. We had to wait about 1.5 hours for a table. Definitely make a reservation in advance to avoid that!]
From the service, the food, the drinks… I gave my experience a 10/10! (The women’s bathroom was a bit nasty from customers not flushing so that was my only annoyance but this isn’t on the restaurant! It’s the customers)
I got the peach sidecars (delicious!) and the blackened catfish with red beans and rice… everything was delicious! I have 0 complaints about the temperature or flavor of the food and drinks. Our waitress checked in on our table multiple times throughout the night and was perfect from start to finish! It was pretty much perfection if you ask me!
I would definitely recommend visiting here! I will definitely be back!
The food was excellent. Yes pricey, but everything's pricey. Would like to see a better price as well as the crawfish etoufee as a side. A little disorganized if you're waiting. Ordered an appetizer and a drink at the bar while the 45 minute wait and could've just add to the dinner bill; the "tab" had to be closed out before sitting at the table and hadn't recieved the order.
This was a 1st time; we will be going back soon.
We loved everything about this restaurant. We used to eat as regulars when this restaurant had another one in Schaumburg. We were thrilled to see the option for reservations. Makes it so much easier to plan for a nice dinner out. Seafoods are always fresh, service is great, and ambience just adds to everything. Must visit place if you like seafood and Cajun style food.
This is one of the most interesting restaurants I've been to. Came here for lunch with my wife to try it out for the first time. Our waiter Derek was welcoming and professional. He explained the menu every part of it and also recommended some dishes. Our waiter brought some delicious fresh warm bread with butter, which the butter spread had enough of a hint of salt, which made it enjoyable. My wife ordered the blackened catfish opelous, and I ordered the red snapper & jumbo crab meal. I've never tasted a red snapper taste so delicious, All the flavors were in harmony. We did order a keylaime cheesecake to go, and that was terrific as well. I I am definitely going to return for the food and service.
