I'd give those guys a zero if I could.
I took a vehicle down there, and without giving too much info away,
he completely RIPPED me off.
His shop accidentally over charged me almost a $1000.00. Then I called the owner about it, we talked about it over the phone, and he agreed to pay it back to me. No problem,
He asked me to simply come to down to the shop to pick the money up.
When I got there...
He literally AND childishly "pretended" like he didn't know what I was talking about and started to act loud and irate as a deflection, almost as a way to get me to leave.
It was the most ridiculous "act" I had ever seen, in my life.
I could not believe how this guy was acting, (a grown man, by the way)
I just left and figured this is not even worth the headache or hassle,
He's refusing to give my money back, and If I sue this guy I would just cost me even more money to do so,
and even if I won he still more than likely wouldn't pay.
That guy is a true SCUMBAG and I'll NEVER do business with that place again.
I paid them $5000 for work that still hasn’t been done, and it’s going on two months.
I would give him a zero star if it existed. We run a well established and reputable diesel repair shop down the road. We took one of our fleet clients to Ted because he’s our neighbor. He has had the truck for 8 months torn into pieces. I suspect he has no clue what he is doing. Do not bring your vehicle here. Save yourself the stress.
I got my car towed there to put an alternator in, they added a few things to it that I guess might be wrong with the car. The only concern I had is the up charging I saw in previous reviews. That wasn’t so much the issue. The issue is they call me the next day telling me not only will they not do my car until I pay which is not something I felt comfortable with but that the original estimated time it was going to be done was changed. Actually they told me it wasn’t going to even get touched the day they said it’d be done. The man is on the phone was very rude and hung up on me after yelling (actually raising his voice) at me to grab my car because they won’t put up with “childish games”. This experience matched up with all the reviews I’ve been reading and I cannot risk my car being stuck there for weeks. I’m just asking for an estimated time it will be done because transportation with 2 kids has been rough lately. I strongly urge anyone who considers going to them to steer away.
My first experience was cool but this time he seem to take to long to do what they suppose to or they put your car last shouldn’t have to pay anything until work is done don’t use them I will never use them again and they customer service is garbage
Took my car there for an insurance claim. First of all they took forever to fix my car kept telling me a certain date but it would never be done on that date. Then they didn’t even fix my car properly the air conditioning still does NOT work and the horn doesn’t work properly. Also the hood of my car doesn’t close all the way Ted was so thirsty to come get that check the insurance company was sending in the mail, it’s a shame after that I heard nothing from them after that. I spoke with them about the issue and Was told to bring it up there so I can give them the issuance info. I did as I was told and left only to not hear back from them at all called them 3 weeks later and was told to bring it back up there because the insurance company has to look at it. Never was told that prior to coming there. Now I’m stuck with a car with no A.C because I refuse to take it back there. I would NOT recommend them to my worst enemy the are swindlers!!!!!! Ted talks so much he doesn’t want to listen to anything you see he’s on of those people that thinks he’s right all the time and he completely wrong the way he runs his business. The only thing good about this place is they cut you deductible in half.
Do not go to this establishment. I was told I could pay with a credit card to the sum of $1,400 to get my transmission fixed. It truly was a good price. They came highly recommended by a fellow friend. However when it all was said and done, I ended up paying for what the owner was going through. The owner is going through a divorce and thus started to Hound me for my money to hurry and fix my vehicle. I let them know that I could only pay credit not cash because I am a mother of six children. They accepted the fact that I could use credit and not cash and they allowed it in the beginning. However the minute that Ted began to get a divorce Ted began to require cash from me. They called me constantly and then I also had to call the police when I showed up with my dad to inquire about what was going on with my vehicle. They were rude and brushing me off. They had my car for 3 long weeks. I had to empty out my savings account just to pay for my car to get fixed and by the way, the price went up so instead of paying 1400 end up paying 1620. Do not go to this facility to get your car fixed they are rip-offs. I would just pay next time the expensive amount of money that it takes to get the car fixed. If I had paid Nissan $5,000 I would have not had to deal with this hassle or this headache. Yes I would have been out of $5,000 but I could have put that on credit and that way I could have paid that over time. I had to take my children's food money my bill money out of the account just to pay for my car to get fixed because they went back on their word after they said they would accept credit. They are not men of their words. Do not go to this establishment. Run!
Update: the day i got my car back my steering wheel was turned left. I called them an inquired about it. They said they didn't touch suspension. I took it to Plain Brothers on triskett and what do you know....they were a few clicks off when reinstalling the steering wheel. Plain Brothers was able to fix it without dropping the frame! And when they heard what happened to me at Teds....they did it for free!!!! If you want good, honest, trustworthy service go to Plain Brothers on triskett! This is the second time they've saved me. God bless them richly!
Took my car here just to get the estimate and they started taking my car apart and had the insurance company send them the check without my knowledge. I go to the shop and they've had my car for three weeks. Come to find out they're understaff. they just hired somebody in the third week to get started on my car. They've told me my car would be done four different times. I've lost my job because I couldn't get to work from them taking a whole month with my car.
