Had an excellent lunch here today. While the prices are above average, especially for lunch, they deliver on everything. The seafood pasta was packed with shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari, and crab. Personally, I would have like a little more calabrian chile, but it was tasty and worth the spend.
Iced tea seemed to have a berry note to it.
Service was great at the bar, and I would recommend this place for sure.
My wife and I decided to stop by Taverna while on our way to shop for her birthday. We decided to travel from the beaches to San Marco. We met Brian the manager and Anastasia was an amazing waitress. We highly recommend athe beat salad and the pizza. If he wants the video you'll see that the creme brulee is absolutely decadent and delicious. It's worth the wait. Also check out the homemade ice cream sandwich. Simply delicious. If you haven't been to taverna be sure to get a great seat near the window because it's beautiful to look out and see the Lions and the fountains.
My husband took me here today for bunch beautiful place, great service, romantic atmosphere wonderful service. Pinot Nior was on of the best I've had the charcuterie board was excellent and paired well with my Pinot Nior. The meatballs was simply Devine. And of course or server was just great the whole staff was excellent. I tip my hat to the chef. Great place to enjoy great food.
Wow! What an amazing experience! I'll get what I didn't like out the way first, which were the metal chairs (hate those chairs in general). It was very uncomfortable for me. But there were other seating options. Absolutely, everything else was AMAZING! Service, spectacular; Loved our waiter/Somalia (Jared, we love you!). Cocktails are deliciously well-balanced. Food scrumptious; great portions, lots of options, fresh, flavorful. Dessert; yum! I'll be back!
We popped in here on a whim before going to the Nutcracker and we were able to snag two seats at the bar. This place is AMAZING. The bartenders were so engaging and efficient, I told the bartender I was pregnant and he created a unique cranberry mocktail just for me! The food came out in 10 mins, which was perfect because we were in a hurry. The Burrata was everything we hoped it would be, combined with the tomatoes and fig jam on the bread it was heavenly. The kitchen split our Caesar salad for us which was thoughtful and the lettuce was crisp. The meatballs were beautifully savory and filling, exactly what I had hoped for. We were in and out in 45 mins (exactly how much time we had before the show), and we had a great meal, fun conversation, and drinks. We throught the pricing was fair as well. We would definitely return for another meal.
It was a very pretty interior and the food was amazing. The service was exceptional and I would definitely be returning for another visit. The drinks were strong but not overwhelming. The food was great and I would recommend the ravioli and get the chicken with it. The only reason I am giving them 4 out of 5 stars is the price is a little high for the area. I understand it is handmade and with the price of everything going up but $32 for ravioli is crazy.
Today, my husband and I visited Taverna for the first time, following great recommendations from our friends. During our visit, there was a mix-up with our order, resulting in my husband receiving a dish we hadn't requested. We weren't bothered by this and understood that mistakes can happen.
What surprised us the most was that after presenting the bill, the waiter stood watching us as we paid in cash and then immediately counted the money right after stepping away from our table. Although the food was good, our experience was ruined by the waiter who hovered over us while we paid the bill, making us feel uneasy.
Outstanding! Taverna is truly incredible! The food, the atmosphere, the drinks, and the service are always impressive! Everything is always cooked to perfection! Truly amazing and I highly recommend! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu in my opinion. Chefs kiss! ????
