Was there last night. Seem like the old owner is back. Food and service gotten even better. we had their homemade dumpling pad thai and sesame chicken. Their Dumpling was juicy and packed with meats. Hard to find homemade dumpling nowadays. Dumpling is a must get!
We’ve been eating there for years and it’s been fantastic. lately not so good. We mainly do takeout online. A couple weeks ago we ordered the tofu. It was not edible. The tofu was like shoe leather. We called and although we had paid $30 for two meals, they only gave us six dollar credit. We went to order today and it was almost impossible to order with the new website. You can’t just order and pay. You have to set up an entire account and get this, they’re charging service fee! No thanks Tasty house, we’re done. i’m not going to pay a service fee for you to get my business. We dumped the order and went to panda express. Too bad, it used to be a good restaurant.
I’ll go to Panda Express next time. Got the General Taos chicken and cashew chicken, both with fried rice. Everything tasted like chemicals with no actual flavor and no spice. The rice was the worst. Was really hoping to have some good Chinese food in Castle Rock, but yet again am disappointed.
Absolutely love this restaurant and we order from here at least once a month. The food is always well prepared and deliciously authentic! We’ve dined in, had take out and delivery with perfection every time.
We like Tasty House over some of the others in town. They have a good orange chicken (spicy) and sesame for the mild flavors, and they always help me find something interesting and new when I ask! This is our Go-to.
I have ordered from here several times. The only reas5i go back is because they are the only Chinese restaurant up here in Terrain. I ordered Combination Fried Rice. The pork, pretty much all of it, was fat or gristle.
I always order takeout here, which is fantastic. The staff is extremely attentive as well and double checks every order. I highly recommend the Lemon Chicken!
Nothing super fancy, but consistently great food, and generally great service. Tasty House has been our go-to place for Chinese take-out or dine-in for nearly 20 years now!
