When I got home with the food the lam chops tasted good the Mac and cheese were delicious but the greens were not so good I was eating some of it and wanted me to throw up and it tasted funny I am not coming back to this restaurant again like The greens were terrible I want to give it a one star worst restaurant I been to
The food here is so good. I enjoyed this place so much I went here 2 nights in a row. The first night I got the fish platter with yams & Mac. The 2nd night I got the wings with greens & rice & gravy. The girl at the counter was very inviting also. The only bad part about this place is it isn’t anywhere to park. Other than that this place is the go to for some good soul food & I will definitely be back.

Different items and everything tasted bad. The chicken was hard and tasted burnt. Turkey wings tasted like they were sitting out all day and no flavor. None of the dishes had flavor. Never again.
The fried shrimp is my go to. The lemond pepper wing are good but the person who Plates the food cannot count. I am always missing a wing (happened twice), at $12 check your food before you leave. I tried their veggies rice, it was horrible (red &green pepper with onions).
I ordered 6 Thai Wings, macaroni and cheese, and cabbage. It also came with a roll. It was listed as $16.50 i paid $18 something. Staff reported a price change but the menu was not updated. The cabbage lacked flavor but the wings were good and the macaroni and cheese ok. The bread... was very buttery.
The last time I ate from here was in 2020, the food was very disappointing and I never ate from here again after that experience. But recently my friend came to visit from Philly and she brought a Whiting platter and baby everything tasted delicious! I was in shock! Tasties in west Philly was alway A1 and I was super shocked it wasn’t in Wilmington. I went to order my own platter and I got the lemon pepper wings, Mac and greens. Again I was shocked because this food was so good it tasted like I was a different restaurant! It’s very evident that the owner listened to the customer feed back and that’s so important!! I recently tried the salmon and it was dry but I’ll let them know next time not to broil for too long. Service is great as well! I will definitely be ordering again!
Great spot! NO PORK! I got the turkey wing plate with greens and Mac and cheese. They didn’t skimp on the portions! The turkey wings were perfectly seasoned. Very tender! The greens were some of the best I’ve had. Most soul food restaurants use pork. This place uses turkey butts. The mac and cheese was good too. The price was a bit high, but the quality made it well worth it. I’d definitely recommend this place!
Never again! Greens taste like salt & the Mac and cheese is dry. Salmon was okay. Maybe I order the wrong thing. But, I would not spend money here again.
