These top neck clams became my favorite after last night. They were so good. People were so friendly here. We kept ordering more and more food because it was nice. Oyster beer shooters were interesting. Tried some gator tail, too. Service was great , we had a great time at this place. We plan to come here again to try some steamed clams next time.
It was hard to park though.
The hostess was very welcoming when I entered. Ordered the conch salad (it was different because it actually had lettuce) and I also got garlic shrimp with curly fries. Enjoyed the fries, not the shrimp. Asked for double fries because I didn't want the coleslaw but I felt like I didn't get extra. Overall I'll give this place a 3.5.
All I can say is I was given directions in several different places to go. When you are looking for a hole in the wall good home-cooked food right in front of you with the hospitality that is just over the top and you have to come here because the gay and Marie will make you laugh so hard. You'll never want to leave the food is amazing. We had the seafood combo. My daughter had the the boil sample.
Have heard great things about this place- if you like oysters the price is pretty decent- dozen for $25- half $13 - tried the conch fritters- a bit greasy. $78 for 3 for lunch- including 2 beers - cute spot, worth the visit!
Very good seafood. We had the fried shrimp and the fried clam bellies (which I love - and are hard to find in the south). It's a bit noisy so make certain your order is clearly understood. Special kudos for making sweet tea for us after advising they were out.
Tark's has been around since 1966 and I see why‼️ This is a smaller spot with outside seating as well. They playing hit music and with service with a smile‼️ The staff was sooooo friendly and the seafood was fried beautifully and the beer is surely ICE COLD ????‼️ The person cooking and the guy shucking the oysters were so dang cool and the young lady that served me my food was a true gem‼️ If you're ever in the Hollywood or Dania Beach area, go check this place out‼️????????
We wanted a spot with a ‘locals only’ vibe and we found it at Tarks!!! The wings are as advertised!! Delicious, juicy, wet and have the perfect level of crisp. The surf and surf featured the best blackened grouper I’ve ever eaten. Also had an oysters and let me tell you they were on point!!! Curly French fries and sweet tea were also great! Atmosphere you have counter seating inside and some tables outside. We sat outside and you get some of the horns honking and revving engines expected on a beach strip, it’s a vibe! Staff are super friendly and efficient. If you sit outside you have to go in to order and they bring it out to you. I’m telling you this was the best food we ate all week! Had to pick up a couple t-shirts for the road because we loved the place. Definitely give this place a visit, you won’t be disappointed. They e been around for over 50 years for a reason. Cheers!!!
Complete garbage. My fish was stained blue from the ink of the cheap paper they use for their to-go food. Called and explained what happened and the lady said the manager is a tuff guy and probably won’t issue a refund but I could try bringing the food in another day. What a joke. I’d rather lose the $26 to let people know DO NOT GO HERE.
