Amazing little spot for Mexican food! The menudo tastes amazing and took me back to my moms dinner table in Juarez. Authentic delicious Mexican food! Definitely would recommend!! Honestly the best spot in north Washington.
I came in here about 20yrs ago & the food/service was stellar. Got the same service this visit (4/4/24). They had just opened & were running a little behind schedule (due to them getting prepped for some fresh paint on the walls). No big deal. We ordered & waited on our food. We both got California burritos & they were delicious! We kept being asked if everything was ok & if we needed anything. The lady gave us a free dessert for waiting which wasn't necessary but was very nice (I was already full). The burrito was so filling I didn't even eat dinner because I was still full from lunch. I will definitely be returning.
Service was fast, and the staff is great. The food is mediocre though unfortunately, carne asada isn't the best, tends to be on the drier side, as well as the sides being a single slice of tomato and some shredded cabbage. Desserts were pretty decent, but again not fantastic. Overall not a terrible experience, we were in town for a volleyball tournament so we didn't have many options, but it seems a bit overpriced for what they gave us.
This is my favorite Mexican spot to stop and get tacos at anytime really plus it's not to far from my house.
They also have the best queso birria I've yet to discover and the tacos are thicc and beautiful, the green and red sauce is also very good definitely one of my top 3 places to go get food.
There is also quite a big selection of snack and dessert options.
Also the other half of the building is a market and meat shop for a one stop shop.
My girlfriend and I went here and got three tacos each and shared a mexican water and walked out paying about $40+. Yes, on 6 tacos and a mexican water expect your bill to go above and beyond but not the customer service that goes below expectations

This establishment is really taking the care to enhance a typical Mexico experience. So many food options on every level. You have your taco shop, on the weekend Al pastor on the spit. Great salsas and deserts, all super typical Hispanic. Go over to the little Carniceria and grocery section, Again, on the weekends they have prepared carnitas, which were super delicious. You can also buy fresh hot tortillas. Beans and rice in the refrigerator section. The owner is always there stocking the shelves, suggesting some of their specials. Creating an authentic experience. Thanks guys! You make me feel a little less home sick for the beautiful state of Mexico.
The tacos and micheladas are so good!!! Great food - tastes just like home ????
