inside the grocery store, a bit of a hidden gem. no fuss taquería with super solid and juicy meet. i got lengua, barbacoa, and cecina — barbacoa was a standout but everything was great
It's a far drive for me from the city, but I love coming out this far for the Carne asada tacos from here I haven't tried more than just that but all looks good, what days do you do pozole?

Best carnitas in the area!
Out of 5 tacos three were great, two were not so good.
However, I will not return because of bad service.
The lady at the counter seemed frustrated with me for not speaking Spanish (I might pass for someone who speaks Spanish I guess but I am an immigrant from a completely different part of the world).
My order came out wrong but I honestly didn't want to interact with her anymore, she made ordering a meal a very unpleasant experience.
Messes up orders and when you try to ask them to correct it, they are completely rude and make it difficult to do so.
I encountered a very rude woman as the cashier. She messed up my order and when I called last night, a man answered and said he’s very sorry that the woman probably took the order wrong. He said they were closing and that he would write down my name and my order so that I can have a credit.
When I called the next morning, and explained the situation the woman was reluctant and dismissive. She put the phone down to ask someone if it was okay and she was attending other customers. I didn’t know whether she was talking to me or another person and then hung up.
When I called back she said “I already told you, fine it’s fine, do you need anything else?” “No okay” and hung up on me several times when I was trying to explain to her that I was sending someone to pick up the torta since I was at home with my toddler.
Needless to say I will NOT be ever ordering from here again and it’s too bad because it’s a local place that I would have wanted to endorse.

The asada tacos were fantastic. I ordered carnita and tripa and they were also delicious, will definitely be back when we are in the area. The restaurant is very small and has threw high tables in the back, a little challenging if you’ve got little ones but the food is great!
Best tacos in the NW Suburbs! The meat is good quality along with the seasoning. The steak tacos are the best I've ever had! Definitely give good portions! Other places rip you off with small portions. Go here and you won't regret it!
I didn’t know about this place until a friend of mine recommended it.
It is a very authentic place with really good food!
I got the steak taco dinner and my daughter got a chicken buttito. The steak was super tender it melted in my mouth and my daughter loved the burrito. Definitely our new spot of authentic mexican food. Were both leaving full and happy ????
