As a diabetic sometimes I just need a little something to carry me over between meals so I stopped in this place (for the first time) today to get just a single taco.
I dont quite think its fair to give a 5 star review based up just one taco -- but I gotta say --- it was one the BEST tacos I've ever been served in Fresno.
Super friendly folks run this little establishment which is kinda of a hole-in-the-wall type place, but not really, because its actually quite large inside. I wasnt sure where the door was and found it comical as I watched a guy, who was apparently coming to meet his girlfriend / wife / whatever there, doing the same thing: HUNTING FOR THE DOOR...lol.
I definitely plan to revisit this place on a Sat or Sunday when they serve menudo. Also plan to take advantage of their taco Tuesday special for .99 cents.
Bottom line: the food is very authentic, service is friendly, and definitely has the Mexican ambience going on. Try it ---> you wont be disappointed.
Trying a different food spot after visiting the zoo with two very picky eaters. WOW, my picky eaters ate everything on their plate. Great authentic Mexican food. The services was excellent and friendly. Price was reasonable. Definitely with stop here again.
Ordered a couple of chicken tacos. They were delicious! When the waiter brought over my meal, I was excited to see a heaping portion of sauteed onions and bell pepper mixed with cabbage over grilled chicken on top of corn tortillas. I smothered the tacos with the green salsa provided which gave them a nice spicy kick.
The food was excellent. It was fresh and homemade. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was excellent.
Delicious food clean place I didn't understand why they didn't have more customers they had their food was delicious especially their giant California burrito I just didn't care for the potatoes in it but otherwise it was delicious
Owner is very nice ????. I ordered Breakfast Burritos. I asked for two meats. Bacon and sausage. I paid extra. Hardly any bacon or sausage. My biggest complaint is. The menu says nothing about beans in the burrito description. Basically the whole thing was beans. Very little of everything else. Eggs potatoes and cheese. I don't mind a little bit of beans but it was 90% beans. I would have asked for no beans if I had known it was one of the ingredients. I have a dietary restriction. I can't eat beans. So basically wasted my money.
The chicken ???? was on point!! Love this place. Definitely recommend stopping by here! ????
I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! Best menudo I've ever had. I can't even eat it anywhere else any more. They have homemade tortillas and gorditas too. It's owned and ran by the nicest family, and you can literally taste the time and love they put into every dish.
