First time so it gets my max 4 for first time.
Had shrimp tostada. Great prices as of March 2024
I'm never disappointed when I order from this restaurant. The Super Chicken Burrito is always satisfying. The shredded chicken is tender and well complemented by the other ingredients. The chips and salsa seal the deal.
It was my first time back visiting after nearly 2 years. From what I recall their prices were a little bit less expensive and the food is about the same. On this particular visit I tried their super nachos, which came pretty simple with just the basics. I only wish they could have added more meat and additional toppings to it like more sour cream and a little more guacamole.
The food is good, but just like any other business, they are taking advantage of inflation. $13.50 per burrito is crazy to me, especially because the ingredients are mediocre. Also, they are charging extra when you pay with debit or credit...like what? ????????
I ordered a Complete Carnitas Meal with flour tortillas, only to find out that they gave me corn tortillas instead.
When I call to ask them about my order, the cashier lady tells me that the meal only comes with corn tortillas.
So, I drove back to the restaurant to exchange my tortillas. She asked for me to pay an additional $2. If that was the case, it would have save me 8 miles of gas and 30 minutes.
Please check your order when you leave, or else?
I should have stuck with my go to stop Mi Tierra Market across the street, but they didn’t have ready made beans. Their Carnitas is much better.
I don't think the price for what you get is worth it. The tacos were nearly $3-4 plain and almost $5 for super but the amount of meat is so small! Tacos are small. As a message to many small businesses, we locals want to support you but the value is just not there meaning cost to quality/quantity ratio is just not there. It was maybe 2 teaspoons of meat and just tiny taco shells (even smaller than usual). I understand that businesses needs to cover their costs including food, rent and paying employees, taxes, but come on, we all know that tortillas at wholesale and two small spoons of meat does not cost as much as we are being charged. Why do businesses have to charge so much? It's not sustainable for locals to eat out like that. You need 4-5 tacos to get full and honestly the tacos were just ok, nothing spectacular. Businesses need to make money, but instead of decreasing quantity of food, quality and raising prices, consider getting more customers with efforts to better marketing and drawing more people in with better tasting food, better quality and then make prices reasonable so we keep coming back and we will be regulars. Then you won't have to raise prices to make up for loss of customers and so called business loss of $$$. Yes inflation is a thing, but again, we all need to use common sense and charge a reasonable price in a world where greed is rampant. Again, I want to support all my mom and pop shops but I also expect them to support the people and provide quality and reasonable cost. Consider improving the business over increasing costs to each customer which some of us are not coming back because we just don't see it worth it.
I’ve been eating here for over 15 years and the food and service are always amazing and delicious. They serve the freshest ingredients and make sure everything is exactly what you ordered. I love the burritos and tacos and tamales too. The chips and salsa are very good too. Now my kids love coming as well whenever we’re back in the bay.
Rude costumer service. Tacos were really small and barely had any meat or vegetables on it when told you the old bald manager guy he started wanting to argue and not fix it. Burritos look like they came out of the microwave and part of it was cold. Don’t come here I recommend Tacos El Gordo
