Best WLM Reviews
Taco ???? truck with their store next door for indoor seating. Al Pastor is the best with some habanero salsa. The Lengua, beef tongue, is surprisingly good.
I’ve ordered food from this place three times. Every time, I order street chicken tacos with no onions. (Street tacos usually come seasoned, with cilantro and onions) the first time, I received plain, unseasoned chicken only, in a corn tortilla. The cilantro was not added even though I only requested to remove onions. The second time, the order was correct. The third time, tonight, they forgot half of our order, and the chicken was unseasoned again (but with cilantro this time). I called to complain after getting a refund from GrubHub because why on EARTH would you NOT SEASON THE CHICKEN ? I was told over the phone that the managers tell their cooks they aren’t allowed to season the meat. Safe to say I will never order food from here again. Also, we did take a bite of the taco just to see if it was any good, and it wasn’t.
I’m just going to say this… this might be hands down the best taqueria in Portland.
We went there to try the Al Pastor because they do it on a spits (the authentic way of doing it) and holy you know what! The flavors are incredible! Ended up getting 3 things on the menu (Al Pastor burrito, Torta and a Veggie burrito) and all where do good. The 3 hot sauces they have did not disappoint also.
Don't do catering with this place! Terrible communication and customer service. I called and spoke with a man to book catering. He told me that I could pay any time, even the day prior if I want. I called today, which is the day prior of the event, to confirm the booking and make payment. This time I spoke with a woman who told me they had booked with a different client and that I needed to pay minimum two weeks prior. She even said that she was there when the man told me that I could pay the day prior. I'm like, why didn't you correct him?! Also why didnt she call me when another catering request was made for the same day to confirming my booking? It's just common courtesy and good customer service. Very disappointed and will never go to this establishment again.
One of my coworkers recommended this place to me & it’s smackin every time I go. The people who work the truck probably know me by order now lol I always get their delicious Birria tacos.
Was ok. I'm spoiled being from California so? Had to go back to get the whole order, the flavor was ok. Veggie options were good.
The carne asada burrito was great. Decent heft and not TOO greasy. Might come back for it.
The tacos are good, but disappointingly small for $3.00. My heart sank as soon as I opened the bag. I felt like I got got. Will probably just get a burrito next time.
EDIT: Upgraded back to 5 stars because the burritos are just so dang good.
Delicious chicken tacos. Drooling thinking about them as I write this. They're filling too.
Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Indoor seating that helps during the cold months.
Their sauces are flavorful. Really adds to the taco.
