This place is another amazing allergen friendly option! Miles helped me narrow down what foods I could have and made sure to remind kitchen staff to change their gloves. I always feel like a burden eating out because of the extensive list of foods I can't eat, they made me feel comfortable and at ease about asking and answering questions! Jose was our waiter for a huge group with a lot of kids on top of it with lots of other allergies intermixed! He handled everyone and our orders perfectly! Thanks Jose!
I enjoyed a late lunch at Taqueria 27, service was prompt and friendly, and the food was pretty good. I most enjoyed the TOD Bacon Poppers, which was unique and delicious. I also had the Duck Confict taco, which was perhaps a 3/5 stars. We enjoyed the Guacamole sampler, and each of the options were very good.
For American fast casual tacos, it is pretty good.
Chloe, our server at Taqueria 27, stole the show with fantastic service—friendly, nice, knowledgeable, and lightning-quick. Kudos to her!
Our feast included the PBLTA, queso, Grilled Shrimp Tostada Bites & Jalapeno Bacon Poppers, fish tacos (one grilled, one fried), fried ice cream, and gluten-free churros/donuts.
Personally I dove into the fish tacos, surprisingly good, and even the fried one was gluten-free, a rarity. The tostada bites were a bit underwhelming in quantity, but delicious. Queso was a pleasant surprise, and the gluten-free churros/donuts were a highlight—rarely do gluten-free treats taste this good!
Despite the restaurant not being too busy, it had a nice vibe. We skipped drinks, but the full bar caught our eye. Taqueria 27 not only delivers on flavor but also accommodates dietary preferences and offers a pleasant atmosphere.
As a Utah native, I appreciate a restaurant founded in the Beehive state. I had the nacho fries and the Angus carne asada tacos. Both were really good and I'd recommend them. You could honestly get the nacho fries as your meal, but they're a great shareable. Misha, our server, took great care of us and was very helpful. I appreciated how personable she was.
The reason for three stars overall is honestly the price tag. When I want street tacos, I want 3 for $5. To be fair, Taqueria 27 doesn't pretend to be authentic Mexican food (they say so on their website). This is for high end tacos, fresh ingredients, and fun drinks. It's just not the kind of experience I go for.
Great tacos’s as expected. Their El Patron Gran Cadillac was also great and nicely presented. Cool vibes and friendly staff. Highly recommend. I tried the taco of the day “red carnitas”. I really enjoyed it.
If you’re looking for high end gourmet tacos this is your place! They’re too high priced to be regular street tacos. I got the tilapia fish tacos and it was yummy ???? Had some tasty avocado type sauce with a big piece of tilapia and lime. The nacho fries were top notch. Everything you’d expect with cheese, greens, pico and I think a tiny of mango! Definitely try if you’re looking for something new. The tacos are a little more expensive than a regular place so be prepared to pay for it if you’re hungry.
Great Atmosphere & friendly service. We tried the carne asada tacos , grilled portobello tacos & Nacho Fries. All were very tasty.
The outside and inside of the restaurant were very nice. The only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is because the waitress that seated us was kind of rude. We were a table of 11 and Ama our server was amazing she was friendly had great customer service and got everyone food and drinks correct. Jaamal was also amazing, so nice and friendly. If you enjoy appetizers definitely get the fundido it was delicious. The food was great, we had everyone from quesadilla’s, tacos, burritos, 3 different types of enchiladas and everyone loved it all. We will definitely be coming back again!
