Passed by Tapas Kitchen in a hot afternoon. I was craving for a cold drink then so I decided to try mango smoothie.
The smoothie is all made of fresh mango cuz I found mango pulp in it. It tastes so good and fresh. And I love its presentation. The frozen bear looks so cute on it. And probably cuz I was the only client and it was less busy then, the owner even generously offered to fill up my cup with the remaining smoothie in the blender.
I will definitely come back not only for smoothies but also for food.

Update
Was craving for some comfort food so I went today for fried chicken wings.
This chicken wings exceeded my expectations. Very tasty.
When I placed the order, I assumed I would get the ordinary fried chicken wings. (You know those wings sprinkled with salt and pepper.) The second I opened the container, I smelled a very nice fresh citrusy aroma from lemon zest on the chicken wings. The wings are crispy outside and tender inside. Very flavorful and not greasy at all. I really like the spices used for the wings.
I would give the wing a 9/10. It would be perfect if it was a little bit more juicier. (It’s not dry at all though)
You don't need to go to the North Shore to queue up; you can also find garlic fried shrimp in Waikiki! Just walk to the back of busy Kalakaua Ave, down a small alley, it's only 1 minute away from Kalākaua. There are tables where you can dine. Right next to the food truck, there is a park where you can enjoy your meal in a peaceful environment away from the busy streets. As a local, I will definitely visit this food truck again for their delicious garlic shrimp. Oh man, the shrimp is large! Fresh green salad on the side. The owner is super kind. Highly recommended! ????????
We were just randomly looking for dinner and googling around for Mexican places and found Tapas Kitchen. The food truck is located in a quiet small street with a few small tables on the side walk. The two of us ordered the birria taco, short rib plate, and acai smoothies. The food was delicious I like my short rib plate and like how the rice was flavored.Smoothie was good not too sweet with a little ice doggy on top of the drink it was so cute ????. The older lady who took our order and prepped the food was super nice. Not too many days left in Hawaii but would definitely go back to try more items on the menu if we get a chance to!
We walked up to Tapas Kitchen food truck. We ordered calamari and three beef tacos on taco Tuesday. Ariel was very pleasant and the food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend you try Tapas!
Out behind the main shopping street. This food truck is excellent. Friendly, good pricing and very tasty food.
Really enjoyed the tacos, just not enough on the plate!
Spicy garlic shrimp could have been peeled and was delicious but probably too much heat for general public. Spicy chicken quesadilla was really good, but for a food truck, not really restaurant quality. ????
This is a new gem!
The owner is super sweet and the food delicious. I ordered the pork belly baos and the lilikoi lemonade. Sooo good. Already planning to go back.
