Very good tamales! Family liked them! Had the red pork tamales. They also have a great selection of Mexican food. I had the cocido. Was really good.
Food selection was good for a small place. Service was bad, it felt like I was being rushed through my order and no one was behind me at all. No one else inside the place eating, no one else waiting to order. I gave the food one star because it felt like I was eating old old old food. I came here because a lot of non-Mexicans claimed it was great, but as a Mexican… I’d rather eat canned chilaquiles then eat here again.
I've been coming here for years. This place is very small but worth it. The tamales are on point. I definitely recommend if your going to get tamales order ahead as they do take orders starting in October. The staff is very friendly as well.
I had a chicken soup on 1/19/24.
It was disgusting. the 2 pieces of chicken looked ugly, I couldn't eat them because of disgust. just a few pieces of potatoes 4or five about 1 inch each one and a few slices of carrots and zucchini.the tortillas were packaged and looked like they were warmed in a dirty grilled because they looked with yellow and brownish stains. No rice!!

Small little whole in the wall restaurant with great food plates.... Jose makes you feel right at home and Natalie the cook is amazing!
