Went this morning in the rain, the lady was so sweet and kind. I purchased 10 tamales, different types. Great size and wonderful flavor. For Canyon Country I highly recommend this establishment.
The tamales had more masa in it than the cheese with jalapeño????The tamales tasted salty and dry. Can’t believe I got a whole dozen! I don’t usually like to say negative things about restaurants, but I spent over 50 bucks for 18 tamales and a champurrado. Won’t be going back.
Super delicious tamales. We have driving to Newhall for some tamales we like and we don't have to anymore. The tamales here are so yummy. We ordered rajas and have to say we will be back to buy more. No need for us to drive across town. The lady at the register was super nice and friendly. The place is clean and cozy.
I never right reviews but I feel I had to this time.I was so disappointed this year with their service and tamales.First of all I placed a order for 6 dozen ,then I called 3 days later to change my order to 71/2 dozen .Someone called me 2 days later to confirm my changes. They where correct. When I picked my order up ,I realized when I got home it was wrong .It was my original order placed.I was very upset.Then after a few hours I get a call from them that my order was ready for pick up.I told them I already picked it up and it was wrong and that I wasn't going to drive from the valley again.They had two orders for me. All they said was I'm sorry. Tamales where very dry and mostly masa! I will not be returning there again!
Haven’t been in the restaurant, but I was at a little league football game at Saugus High School and they had a tent setup. I bought two tamales and I should have bought more. So delicious and at an amazing price. Definitely a fan moving forward!❤️
We are pretty fond of the tamales here. Try them. Sometimes this place is very busy. P.S. To the gentleman who blamed our U.S. president for the pricing, here, I can only respond: when I eat a tamale, the last thing on my mind is politics. I like the chicken and the beef tamales!...and democracy!
I ordered a dozen of tamales and I went to eat one and there was a piece of hair cooked into the middle of the tamale. Really disgusted by that I was hoping to have a good experience.
They need to upgrade their place. Does not look anything close to their 3 yrs. Pictures in google map pictorials. Their masa is dry. Good flavor in chickens.
