Great experience! Got the Bacon, avocado cheeseburger combo and man… it did not disappoint whatsoever. Friendly service, taste that matches price. I believe the owner was there, he even said “enjoy your meal” which was nice of him. If I get another opportunity to come back… I definitely will. Do recommend.
So sick of this. I come here often before going to work (blt) or a cheeseburger combo or my 2 choices. As of lately the food is under cooked or over cooked they've ALWAYS been RUDE and today I wanted a cheeseburger combo which by the way is damn near $20 and the meat is burnt, it's thin and the bun is burnt. Fries are under cooked soda taste ???? strange. Next time throw it away to avoid conflict. Someone else purchased it for me so I don't have the receipt to dispute my order. Just trifling
Update on price I checked the receipt it's $12 however it's still wasted money, stuff is way too high to be playing with peoples food. DO BETTER....
I used to come here as a kid and adult for many years and they had the best chili cheese fries ever. Then they changed owners and the recipe changed for the chili cheese fries. Customer service is also not friendly like the previous staff. Honestly, don’t recommend anymore.
Years ago this was the spot to go to get good service and great food. This past year unfortunately this establishment was gentrified. Still great food and people but prices went up on everything. I still eat here from time to time because it brings back memories of my youth. Would definitely recommend for good food and service.
Their service has got really bad especially the fact that they’ve changed the window where to order. I pulled up and this short guy asks me what I ordered and I said I hadn’t yet and didn’t know there was a window where I was able to because apparently they changed it and decided to give me attitude by telling me it was on the other side(yet didn’t ask me what I wanted to order)and just stood their and stared at me. Very rude guy! A lot has changed! Previous guys where super nice and polite!!!
PS. Their chicken bowl used to be bigger (I don’t mind it but I always share with my daughter)idk why they decided to change it and still charge the same price for a smaller amount. SMH!!!
I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Tam's Burgers on 51st St. and South Central in South-Central LA, and I must say that it was nothing short of a nightmare. From the unclean environment to the disgraceful behavior of the staff, my visit left me questioning the hygiene standards and ethical practices of this establishment.
First and foremost, the cleanliness of Tam's Burgers was appallingly inadequate. The entire place seemed unkempt, with sticky tables, dirty floors, and a lingering stench that made it difficult to stomach the thought of eating there. It was evident that basic sanitation practices were neglected, which raises serious concerns about the safety of the food being prepared and served.
To make matters worse, it became apparent that the staff at Tam's Burgers lacked any form of professionalism or respect for their customers. It is disheartening to believe that in a community that deserves better, this establishment perpetuates a culture of mistreatment and disdain towards its patrons. During my visit, I witnessed several instances of rude behavior and condescending remarks from the employees, which left me feeling belittled and disrespected.
What truly shocked me, however, was the revelation that Tam's Burgers engages in unsanitary practices, even going as far as spitting in the food of customers they don't like. It is utterly disgusting and deplorable to think that an establishment entrusted with providing nourishment to the community would resort to such repugnant acts. Not only does this demonstrate a complete lack of hygiene and food safety standards, but it also exhibits a total disregard for the well-being of the customers they serve.
To add insult to injury, when I confronted the staff about the subpar quality of their food and the subsequent food poisoning I suffered, their response was nothing short of hypocritical. They seemed to brush off my concerns, deflecting blame and displaying a complete lack of accountability for their actions. It is deeply troubling to think that Tam's Burgers not only serves unsanitary and potentially harmful food but also lacks the integrity to acknowledge their mistakes and take corrective measures.
In conclusion, my experience at Tam's Burgers on 51st St. and South Central was beyond disappointing. The unsanitary conditions, disrespectful staff, and the revelation of repulsive acts like spitting in food are simply unacceptable. It is my sincere hope that the community recognizes the serious health hazards and the lack of respect for customers exhibited by this establishment. I strongly urge everyone to steer clear of Tam's Burgers and seek out safer and more reputable dining options in the area.
This tams isn’t what it use to be. It’s completely changed in some aspects good and others bad. Before changing ownership the tams was well integrated and the employees were good at serving food. Now there’s been a lot of bad service here, especially the morning shift. They get orders wrong, have attitude towards someone ordering food and just plainly want to be right in every situation. They tried charging me $1.00 for an extra 1000 island keep in mind that I’ve been a regular customer and they have never charged me in these 5 years money for extra dressing. I was waiting in the drive through for them to answer and no one did so I went to the and ask them if the speaker wasn’t working and they gave me attitude saying it does. The only shift that does everything right is evening with my boy Tony. The OG of whoever works there. He deserves a raise as he’s been there before I started going and has always put the customer first. These new guys aren’t good for giving good reviews on this business. Especially when they’re charging a dollar for one extra dressing. Aside from this the chicken bowl I just received tasted like dish soap and it also smells like it. Almost went back to throw the food through the window now it’s in the garbage.
The food is good and fast.. I have dealt with a younger guy and a woman so far, and they have both given excellent customer service. The outside area is always clean, especially given the surrounding areas. Thank you both for giving good customer service that helps make the food that much better when you walk away happy.
