I've lived in the greater Denver area for over 16 years and am a bit disappointed that I only now discovered this place.
They have gigantic breakfast burritos (seriously you only need one) and really tasty over stuffed tacos.
I love that you can pick and choose from many salsas and (within reason obviously) have as much as you want. Lunch specials are dirt cheap (the one I got was 5 al pastor tacos for $5) and they provide decent service. If I'm in the area there's no question where I lunch. Always leave a couple bucks tip for takeout, these folks work hard!
Good food made to your liking. However, communication is essential yet lacking at the register. Not having someone at least bilingual in comprehension as well as speaking causes room for error, as I've experienced on my last visit. And I speak Spanish fluently.
The are ok. I ordered a steak burrito with chicharons. The didn't give me steak in the burrito and when I asked they said that I can only have one meat in my burrito. When my daughter asked for a recipe the said the machine didn't work. I found out that they were over charging people and that is probably why the said that they couldn't print out a recipe
They charged more on my card than my food was worth. When I asked for an itemized receipt, the person taking my order admitted they had charged more because of a fee to pay by credit card. I told her an additional fee should be communicated BEFORE someone gets charged and she said they have a sign. I pointed out there was no sign I could see, so she rotated a display with a sign that is only visible to customers inside (I went through the drive thru). The sign stated that credit cards would be charged extra, but no transparency on how much extra, whether a flat fee or percentage. It seems the amount is arbitrary, as the cashier rounded up and then added 4 more dollars to my order. The food was average and not worth the extra charge. If you go, pay cash, or just go somewhere else.
I cant believe how bad the food was and it was missing the onion and cilantro and ky husbands was missing the carne asada on his carne asada smothered fries. It didnt taste good and it was like the cook was on something cause it took a long time to get our food. Hate to leave this review cause normally its really good but definitely not.anymore.
I thought it was great here. You can sit and eat, and they made me one of the Best tortas I've ever had. I hope i can offer them MY services to help them save money.
I used to love this establishment, but i probably wouldn't frequent it any more. I waited close to an hour for ;a smothered burrito, 4 tacos plate 1 tostada chili cheese fries and 2 horchatas. I paid $40 for my meal didnt realize that I never got my drinks untill i was home (6 miles away) and 2 of my tacos couldn't be eaten because the carne asada is so tough and chewy, the pieces of meat i did taste weren't very well flavored. I say try Torres or tonys mexican. The only reason i went is because torres was closed.
