They have by far the best Morisqueta out of all the places I have tried in Orange County! Their food is delicious, and the salsas too! However, I would encourage them to serve the cheese in cubes instead of sprinkled on top. Mexican food with a very authentic taste.
Love their Birria it has great flavor and tender meat. Head over early because they usually run out by noon.
If you like potato taquitos I would grab an order, you won't be disappointed. Enjoy.

Tacos y Birria el Guero is a low-key taqueria sharing a parking lot with a nail spa in Santa Ana.
I love their "Asada Taco." Like most carne asada street-style tacos, it features thinly-sliced marinated beef mixed with chopped onions and cilantro deposited into back-to-back double corn tortillas. For as much as I believe typical carne asada to be a grossly overrated taco filling, this is the good stuff, the Hennessy XO of carne asada. It is tender and juicy, yet the ultra-thin slicing helps maximize the surface area that is browned and seasoned. There is a smooth and tasty avocado-chile salsa at the salsa bar that this taco wears perfectly.
The "Birria de Res Taco" is also quite fantastic. This taco features juicy braised beef rib meat pervaded with small luscious specks of salty fat. The birria is lightly spiced but pleasantly fragrant -- there is a touch of cinnamon that I caught a faint whiff of as my face approached the taco, but not enough for my tastebuds to notice unless I was looking for it; the guajillo broth is not heavy or dark at all compared to the birria de res I've grown accustomed to in San Diego. I drizzled some of the Salsa de Aceite (spicy chile oil) onto this taco and it dialed up the intensity and heat of the birria considerably. That stuff is magic!
On lunch from work, decided to stop by and check out this taco spot I've heard a lot about from my coworkers. I ended up ordering quatro birria tacos con todo (4 birria tacos with everything) and they were simply delicious. For a new spot, I generally try the tacos plain before adding any type of sauce to them. With or without sauce, they were delicious. Everyone is nice and very welcoming. Definitely a return trip is in order... And soon.
Great tacos and not skimpy! The hot sauce is very spicy! So if you can't handle spicy stuff don't try it! They have other food which I'm curious to try. The place is very mediocre in design and layout, but then again which fancy place makes great tacos (some of you know what I'm talking about) There were at least 3 posts warning people not to leave their belongings visible in their vehicles (there must be someone breaking into cars in the area) see my pics for idea of pricing and what the Tacos look like. I assure you I've seen better tacos then these, but these still tasted Bomb!

We’re blessed to have so many taco options in Orange County that it’s overwhelming to figure out which to try, and which ones stand out. This place caught my eye as they had Taco Wednesdays instead of Tuesdays!
I went with the Carne Asada, Chorizo, and Pollo Asado tacos. You have to dress them up yourself, and unfortunately, the salsa bar only has tiny containers (the ones typically used for ketchup at American fast food restaurants). You might be better off ladling on the salsa straight onto the tacos. I couldn’t figure out which one was which, they mostly tasted similar to me. All the meats were flavourful and fatty, but the chicken was surprisingly my favourite one. Typically the cheapest/easiest cut of protein to make and dry out, this place has consistently put out great chicken tacos every time I’ve visited.
The seating area is great for groups and feels cozy but tightly put together. I can see this becoming an issue should it get busier. The parking lot always had one or two spots just as I arrived, so finding a spot may be an issue.
First time on this place I order two menudos to go when I get home I open the container, was to stinky I trashed cannot eat the flavor was very bad.
