This is my first time coming back to this tacos stand in over 7 years and it did not disappoint at all, the tortillas are handmade and delicious I like that they have a limited amount of meats meaning that whatever you get, will be delicious.
We are from out of town and did a taco tour of our own. We tried 5 different taco places today, these were the best. They hit the spot and you can't beat the handmade tortillas. As my kids said 1000/10!!
Excellent and tasty, line moves quick. I’d pay a little bit more money to have a higher quality carne asada option — the Tyson box that was next to the tire of the truck doesn’t instill confidence
Came here in 2020 and again in 2023. This is a mandatory stop if I’m in LA.
The signature guacamole differentiates this taco spot from others visually. But taste wise, this has to be one of your stops if you’re doing a taco tour in LA. The Al pastor pales a bit in comparison to other spots but that’s my only complaint.
I got the privilege to introduce this spot to someone who’s never had authentic tacos before and they absolutely loved it.
Parking is tricky but I had no problem finding a spot in the tire lot on a Tuesday at 630pm(early for tacos, I know).
Great food. People say this a lot but they definitely are the number #1 place for tacos. Glad they are in south central where the REAL citizens of LA reside.
Didn’t know Google had a star rating for “atmosphere” there line up if empties is amazing to see. You gotta be there to see everyone doing their jobs. But the downside is that there are NEVER enough tables for guests. I always have to eat on my car. And the tables they do have are plastic lunch tables. You know the kind, the fold out white ones. Sooooo please get some more tables.
Also I’ve always managed to find parking but it is an issue I for see my self running into one day. Totally worth it tho.
Why is this taco truck rated so high? Everywhere else these tacos would be average. $2.5 per taco, they were smallish, salsa was bland, someone recommend me a spot for these amazing LA tacos because so far SD has LA beat in the Mexican food department!
I tried asada, chorizo & pastor. By my favorite was the pastor it was perfectly char'd to perfection with plenty of the sweet pineapple flavor bursting through. The asada was alright & we just not gonna talk about the chorizo (a bit dry) Overall 4/5 ????????
Had this saved on Googles Maps and I stopped by since I was close. 4 carne asada tacos and a can of coke cost $10. Definitely worth it! The meat was tasty and the guacamole that I normally don't like was creamy delicious.
Keeping this spot on my Google Maps to hit back up whenever I'm in the area.
