Best WLM Reviews
This spot was great. Their birria tacos were delicious and heavy. Nice little hangout spot right in front of the truck as well. Nice people.
My husband and l saw the taco truck while out shopping last week and thought we'd give it a try. OMG. We went back the next day and the day after that! This is By Far the most delicious Mexican food EVER. The prices are very fair and the people are so nice. A Perfect Ten! ✨
Difficult to rate as it's not a 'restaurant', but as a food stand it's pretty good.
My $10 chicken super burrito was good and more than I could eat. Not overly flavorful, but enjoyable nonetheless.
The 'atmosphere' is a little outdoor park-like area with picnic tables. On the day of my visit, it was clean and tidy and the weather was perfect.
I will be back.
Good solid traditionally prepared dishes with excellent homemade sauces. Very friendly and quick service. It wasn’t that busy when I was there but a steady flow of customers came and went.
My Chili Relleno plate ($10) made with a Poblano was very good and included a generous number of warm corn tortillas and sides of rice and beans.
Prices are very moderate or even on the lower than average side. The horchata was $5 but was a huge size, definitely enough to share. Their homemade chips are excellent nice and crispy not oily or salty. Great with their salsas.
Nice setting to eat and far enough away from the road that the noise and dust weren’t an issue with lots of parking nearby and a cool rock garden that seemed popular with the kids we saw there.
Definitely recommend for standard Mexican fare that tastes good at a very reasonable price.
Overall, a pretty good taco truck. The standout was the al pastor, it tasted great, and was pretty spicy. However, the asada on the fries was a little dry, and lacked strong flavor. The wait time was very short, and the prices were good as well, better than other options I've had in the area, but the overall taste was a small notch below. Definitely worth the price for what you can get, as while other locations may have better flavor, the pricing at those places will likely be much higher. This truck is definitely worth a try in my opinion, if only for a good value proposition.
I would have taken a picture of the taco, but its gone already lol personally I have been to a lot of taco trucks and I completely understand why their prices are so high. These are the best darn burritos and taco I have ever had. My expectations are pretty high when it comes to a decent burrito or taco, they definitely have my approval, would give more stars if I could!
After moving back to my home county after being gone for 35 years, I noticed lots of taco trucks around my old stomping grounds.
This is a sweet little spot at the Italian Picnic Grounds, with lots of covered seating. Perfect summer taco stop. The price is right, the food is good and “hot” means hot in the best way.
I’m planning on checking all these trucks out, but this has certainly set the bar. Sweet spot.
The best food truck in Amador County. Food is outstanding, they are friendly, and the cost is very competitive. My favorites are the pastor tacos, pastor burrito or the pork tamales with green sauce over the top. Sad to say they don't have tamales anymore.
