My dad and I stopped for lunch after a tour of the tulips in the Skagit Valley. The service was great, the food was yummy, not a crumb was left. We've been going to Taco Time together for 60 years! Thank you for another good time.
I haven't had an issue with this restaurant in quite some time but today I thought Wow they were on the ball and fast. But low and behold I get home 30 minutes later to find out that they forgot half my order and didn't get some of it right. I know good help is hard to find and if there was another Taco Time closer to our home I'd go there. Don't get me wrong I love Taco Time their food is great. But we don't live close and when I called to tell them you get an answering machine. They will call you right back. Yes right! Plus the food ain't cheap these days, neither is gas!
Had a wonderful experience picking up my order yesterday evening, Im a usual at this location but after a particularly tiresome week, seeing the bright and cheerful face of the manager Marin and the fresh crispy beef tacos that followed really made my experience complete. Seeing bright familiar faces and having a warm meal from a beloved establishment really makes a difference
The food is always good. The gal taking orders and giving us our food at the drive thru has a really bad attitude and is extremely rude. I can see her having a bad night, but she has been this way to us 3 times in a row. I was trying to also give the benefit of the doubt to her, but shoving our bags of food at my husband, rolling her eyes at anything we said. It felt like she had a personal issue with who we were?
The old man working is rather rude. Ordered take out and when picking up my order I calmly asked is this one for me. He then proceeds to tell me" Well must be there's only two of you waiting..." he said it with a rude tone while not looking at me or engaging me like a human. Probably shouldn't be dealing with customers with an attitude. Don't think I'll come back. The young ones were rather pleasant though.
Old school Taco Time is dead, or at least the NW locations are, just like the old school saying “Good Good Fresh Fresh”. (FYI, you can still find an authentic Taco Time experience in Eastern WA, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana). The tacos I ate tonight were nothing more than lettuce in a shell…. Taco Bell would have been better, and that’s sad because Taco Time used to blow Taco Bell out of the water!
The food is barely recognizable these days due to how much they’ve shrunk it down and the quality changes. The crisp burritos are more like taquitos, the famous crispy tacos that used to be stuffed with meat and cheese are now just a small shell with mostly lettuce. Portions are tiny and prices are through the roof. No more self serve hot sauce or ketchup, which they now charge for. If I’m paying nearly $15.00 for a combo meal, or any meal for that matter, I expect to walk out the door satisfied. Visiting a Taco Time NW is not satisfying these days, which is why I visit less and less often after every disappointing visit. I’ve been eating at Taco Time for over 40 years and I’ve never been so disappointed. At least this location isn’t remodeled, because the remodeled locations are hip and unrecognizable… they suck! Oh and the MEXI Fries are now Tater Fries, and the MEXI platter is now a Fiesta Platter (2022 change)….. How PC of them. Question - are we still eating MEXICAN Food? A boycott is in order, for all fast food, but Taco Time NW deserves it the most. I, like many others, are very disappointed with Taco Time NW!
I love taco time I always get the habanero burrito it used to be the biggest burrito on the menu I ordered it two times ago noticed it was smaller then usual then yesterday I order it again and it's even smaller no joke I ate it in 3 bites my wife's natural soft was more then twice the size not to mention the lid on my habenero salsa was not put on and exploded all over the other food in the bag it was a disappointment...YOU BETTER BRING BACK THE BIG HABENERO BURRITO OR LOSE ME FOR EVER AND SHATTER MY HEART
How do you constantly keep messing up my orders lol. This time you forgot my tacos after digging through my bag for 5 minutes to make sure it's right. Then my stupid self keeps believing it's right. I'm going to Snohomish location from now on.
