For a small town this place is pretty good, the employees are always so nice and outgoing. It's got a great atmosphere and feels homey. The only thing that keeps it from 5 star is sometimes they get a little skimpy on the meat, and the salsa is an extra charge for more than one little cup. Other than that it's great
I occasionally eat there, I use the drive-thru. I would like the portions to be just a little bit bigger, especially the fish and shrimp offerings, but overall it's not bad.
At Taco Hut I had a sausage breakfast burrito smothered with green chili sauce. The burrito was as big as the plate. The horchata was really good. Nice outdoor seating. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Microwaved every food that came out... thought it was cute but not worth the $50 for 3 people.
Food is good, could use a bit more spices (e.g. salt, garlic, etc.) for my taste though. The woman who took my order was friendly and patient with me.
Some of the best Mexican food in the state! I cant speak higher of this place and the quality of the food!
We dropped in for a pleasant surprise: an inexpensive place for tacos, burritos and alcohol! It really hit the spot on a hot day. The food was delicious, and I thought my 3 tacos for $9.99, liberally dosed with sour cream and guac were fabulous. And, oh yeah, the big margarita in a tall glass was the perfect way to wash it down. I'll definitely be back for breakfast.
I got the Monday special a pork tamale, an enchilada with rice and beans and asked for the spiciest salsa they had to my surprise it packs a nice punch. I can never find a salsa hot enough for me. I also got 3 breakfast burritos but; after eating my first meal, I couldn’t stop and had to try one of the breakfast burritos and wow, it was amazing. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I recommend this place to anyone getting done with a hike near by looking to get some good hearty fuel in your system at a good price. Hands down the best place I went in town.
